  1. @MAS_Ichipoxi nope, it is free to use and it makes your tokens more useful. As it worked with these tokens I put it down here. I have no desire to have a financial interest in this, if you want to take it and sell it then go for it; I can provide the Fusion 360 files if you'd like. It is actually really nice now that I have played with it a few games. Sorry for the delay I'm not to active on here.
  2. For data tracker, the nullifier is a huge boon; there are very few armies that can "buff" as well as a nullifier in an area. I mean fairy dust is cool, but not having to pick up the die in the first place is better. Also, some of the missions require you to move up the board aggressively, the Vulcan shotgun might become a good option. It is great at trimming down defensive links due to its habit of killing models dead and the prime 8" range band vs defensive links that often suffer a -3 mod in that range.
  3. I think that my main problem that after playing other armies where I tend to get 4 model coordinated orders at a regular basis I'm looking for an upside Tohaa just does not get. So I need to reduce my expectation of what a command token will buy me. For instance converting an irregular order to regular is in my book not worth it (I mean that is like .5, maybe .75 orders; it is not a full free order) but that is still better than ending the game with command tokens So: Break link, coordinate, reform link => +3 orders for 2 tokens => 1.5 free orders Convert delegate => +.75 free orders 4 command tokens => 4-6 free orders. When you expect to get 12 free orders then it is hard to accept a deal that offers you 4-6; this does not take away that not taking the 4 free orders is a mistake when you end the game w/ command tokens to spare.
  4. After treating them as 12 orders; treating them as 4 orders feels rough. I have been trying to move away from triads into using command tokens but the efficiency of the g-sync models kills it for me. They are too good in the points per wound category. My current lists are not useful as they are mostly there to try specific things (like utilize command tokens), thanks for the offer.
  5. I stand by the not as useful on the coordinated orders, Gorgos, Kerail, Raseil can't benefit from them unless you lose models Add to that same training and same combat group and, well, you might activate 4 dudes if you ran 2 links?
  6. ... and what do you use them for? I have come to the realization that coordinated orders are not all the useful these days :/ and we are a bit light on cubes / remote presence.

I tried googleing some of the troop options and the top hits went back to this post :/ the baggage reloading bugs is adorable, it also applies to the panzerfausts I think the bug people give extra command tokens so that might be worth it if this command token business works out. I mean it is shoot-reload-shoot-reload etc. But you are still able to blow things up with a panzerfaust. It gives a nice plan B (possibly plan A) vs Tags. As for the triad mismatch; I intend to telegraph a MSV-2 sniper during deployment, and I tend to leave some Makuls unlinked for the free order.

  10. the CAD is up on youmagine. It really needs some cleaning, and blunting of sharp edges, but sanding fixes that. It is snug enough to not need a rubber band. I don't think that it would be easy to take the levels apart if you fill them to the brim with tokens. To get your own; on youmagine there is a "print on 3D hubs" button, the material should be PLA. Or find someone (not me) to print them for you. Please note that the CAD (Fusion 360) is shit. the parametric design did not work out at all, and I need to learn how to get something like this to work in a parametric way where I can just vary the inputs on the token diameters. :/
  11. so a lot of people have mentioned that you need 10 orders in group 1; the missing bit is the why. If you go first and your opponent sees you have only a few orders they can spend a command token to drop that by 2; that means you have 6 orders left, that is not much of a turn 1. Smoke is good when you have msv2; but not required. It really depends on your meta. If you see a lot of haq and ariadna then msv2 is just fine w/o smoke as you counter those troops. Also consider playing just one list. If you are starting out then it might be overwhelming to have to switch between games. if you do switch keep most of the important troops the same so that you don't have to remember 2 sets of rules.

  13. for your first tournament create a strategy and execute it regardless of your opponent. This gives you enough time to pay attention to where it does and does not work. Time management will be a big issue unless you are used to it. Things to consider; either plan on info war or play no info war; meaning bring slightly too many hackers or bring nothing that can be hacked. Ignore secret objectives play 1 list, bring only 1 list Bring snipers // TR to slow down the game Focus on executing rather than winning; that is plenty of work. things to pay attention to Don't pick a side unless you walk around the table and drop your node down to the roof tops. Bring a notebook so you can scribble lessons down. Check on rules when you think your opponent is wrong (this game has a LOT of rules and people play them wrong often, you have the fortune of a fresh look). ask how many points models are, that is a good guide for power levels. When facing a sniper go and walk around the able and see what they actually can see.
  14. you actually always know because of the fire team token. This is no different than placing 4 Athenas and letting people guess which one is the real one.
