  1. So, we need like all the spec. ops for molotok alone, let alone the great looking model. I could see getting 3 to get some variant in grunt ii. Heavy Flamer Profile. Section 9 joked about the tactical tripping hazard ammo box. I said, nah, it's a cooler, so now it has to be painted white with a blue lid.
  2. Some of the profiles I love already listed and pretty much agreeing with reasons. Machaon. I cannot make a SP list without him. Ariadna Scout: don't forget specialist too! Absolutely necessary in an Ariadna camo list, I held off for a long time because I didn't like the original model. Others: Realistically, I like any models with a good amount of toolbox to them. Tank Hunter autocannon: beauty of a model and probably why I started ariadna but having what ML's only get in link teams is awesome - 2x ap/exp + throw in camo/ambush ability and in a very, very rare case, armor for the off chance an opponent might win the shootout. otherwise, all around good stats from physical to BS. Ajax: For those points! what a great statline, especially supported by a myrmadon enomotarchos team. I find he's also an auto-include for SP most of the time. Very enjoying having the hard to hit Myr's. charging straight across the board to let Ajax step up to the plate at the last minute and knock one out of the park. Plus, with 2 comb. rifles and link bonus getting a 5 burst attack is pretty difficult to defend against if you just want to run him upfront with a cheap Myr. team. Desparados: Opps, SMG profile. Cheap enough to be disposable, basically free orders to get the unit into a board control position. SS 2+ suppression fire keeps enemies away AP and shock as a bonus for any troops too light. Pretty much a near perfect platform of speed and utility. The only drawback, no specialist option. Anthematic and Ko Dali : Though I like them for different specifics, they are a both a combination of beautiful models, and great stats. Total utility. And they work well together. I love CH:TO and though I rarely play armies with MSV 2 when I can I love that too. Anthamatic, hacker, plasma, sepsitor, with a TO package a truly a joy of a toobox. Where as Ko Dali is the scalpel to the anthematic's toolbox. Tarik Mansuri: I loved him before fatality 2, now he's a beatstick, AND offensive cruise missile set to decapitate the enemy command.
  3. I tend to run with a skivaros LT. with an anthamatic, but I've used the well. I've run a bunch of lists and kodali and makrep trackers both work well for support. I tend to use unidrones and ikadrones for G:memonica for order support and to use as HQ back up if it gets taken out. I really like the lists with the Anthematic, ko dali and umbra and they are some of my fav. Combined models. I think the charontid is flat out more effective/offensive models but I just don't like the model enough to use it.
  4. 1 aswuang, try 5 most with glue guns. tag an opponent then swagger confidently up for a little midnight snack. They simply run to the rest of your opponents models trading W's for distance to get the next gobble on. 1. done it. 2. done it in a objective room 4. why else do you plays shas. 5. use those mines to cover enemy infiltrators too! 6 oh, yeah. Thats the other reason to play shas. 7 I call it the shrouded, malignos, noctifire threesome. 8. My they never do well for me. 9. don't forget to throw a pair Q drones in cover, covering major advancement paths. Even better now with assisted fire. How much effort do you want to put into Camdus. Wait for your opponent to deploy skirmishers, or even advance deployment if you feel lucky. Drop a minelayer and a mine nearby, drop camdus in first order in their back arc. This could also be done with malignos in hidden Deployment as your opponent advances instead of using minelayer. I like that idea of camdus morpho scanning sheskin.
  5. Never gonna', neva' gonna', ... Ooh, got it.
  6. All of them? ... Ah, hah!, Except Pan O. Though I may consider due to cool new models the jungle faction someday. I started out with JSA, and I've simply added all at some point except Pan O. Though I don't play JSA much if at all anymore, so Yu Jing (JSA) may be considered my secondary army?
  7. I was thinking it needed to be a heart, like it was ripped out... with that paint style.
  8. Based on the model, the profile is going to have to be updated. I think people kept asking CB, where's ariadna's TAG, and they said, "well, here ya go". Core +1 to gruntz would be amazing. Or perhaps MSV 1 at least on the sniper. Blackjacks with Full Auto and Fatality 2. NOW! ( that should be a Banner ) Though while we're at it how about inferior infiltration desperados? Based on it's points and profile as it is though, I've like the use in the game, though I generally bring other options. I think in vanilla it's not about replacing a spetznaz or tank hunter but adding them in addition as cheap additional support.
  9. I keep trying to figure a list with scarface and cordelia but everytime I feel they just don't bring enough. The engineer capability is nice though. The reason the second group has 41 extra points is the alternative of COC for emergency LT loss, or a few different specialists. Also, switch can be replaced by engineer with ADHL panzerfaust. Salted for taste. My thoughts on the Marauder Link team, is it's wasted without a HRL: Toss up, depending on target model, for the best sniper in the game with a/the Linked ML. I've also been known to roll with 5 Grunt snipers linked though as well (which ensures they are able to always get the Marksman X option).
  10. Probably should post them in Wotan campaign area, But I don't care... First list I used General Ariadna. (2 | 36) 6 SWC | 299 Points Open in Infinity Army The Unknown Ranger is standing in for Cap'n. Dunpar. currently second in command. I fully expected Veronin to get aced due to nomad AD Troops, but came out of the battle well off. I was planning on having the Capt. take over on missions in a more permanent role. But I guess that will have to wait. We played Nomad mission 2 Kill Cage. The scouts and a chassuer secured the core room and place mines to defend it, while the Ihrmandinos and unknown ranger secured all the weapons in the container mis-labled "Beer". No wonder a Shasvastii could be hiding in their control deck. The team of Engineers then impetuously blew a hole in the wall separating the control room and docks from the transport corridors to get into contact with nomad force. Cap'n wanted the Nomad officer seized for questioning, luckily a number of ADHL were found in the containers which would aid in the enemy officers detainment. Finally, the Chassuer Minelayer booby trapped the enemy stockpile crate in order to prevent secure and removing the contents before It could be examined. Finally the Tank hunter and Vet. Kazak stood near shoulder to shoulder, bravely covering the enemy's advance. Together the killed the nomad doctor and most of the nomad link team before being dropped by successive criticals from a HRL. I revealed them in my opponents turn. Mostly I needed to delay the Link team from advancing to the crate.
  11. add an antipode squad for this and a tank hunter autocannon.
  12. I was going to chime in with this but was apparently beaten to the punch.
  13. Try building every model with the spec ops? Probably not helpful but maybe
  14. For USARF I like to run a 5 man link of snipers with marksman X backed up by a marauder harris with HRL and LT and 1-2 rifle heavy flame throwers. The snipers are a defensive link feeding specialist orders, when you shoot at them the target goes B2 while everyone else goes +6 to hit. Marauders sweep and clear in a second order pool. I think the worst link I've gone up against is Morat yogats as I like to run a lot of camo and ODD. Other great links for fun: Haqq. Lasiqs mix of rilfe and 2 sniper, Loup garou Viral/glue shennanigans, and A.S.S. with Ajax and Machaon leading groups of myrmadons with spitfire, chain rifle and hacker.
