  1. Yeah...looks like it's working. Now our one Ariadna player will be happy.
  2. I created an event and it shows "Limited Insertion" but it isn't selected nor do I want to make it one. Any ideas? Link to the event page is below: https://its.infinitythegame.com/event/4889
  3. I believe Nestor and I have a table reservation again this year. Battle of the Bobs: Year 2 Also, check the Baltimore Brawl email....
  4. Sorry..yes. They are: 1 - 150 2 - 200 3 - 250 4 - 300
  5. Correct. There are no missions being released prior to the event. You will have time to create lists prior to the start of each round. The order will be like this: 1: Pairing 2: Receive Mission 3: Create list 4: Initiative Roll If you have any other questions, let me know.
  6. That is an interesting way to handle it. If you look at this as you lost and in order to overcome you had to basically spend more resources to maintain a foothold. If you won, you obviously have superiority and don't need as much resources. I really like it.
  7. News for the Thursday Campaign: I have the missions for the Thursday Campaign almost complete. Just need some fine tuning and a play through. I will probably keep it straight SpecOps XP points and not the Command points. Some people explained the various scenarios when they get out of hand easy. Additionally, it screws over the losers in most scenarios. I can see it working well over a long campaign. I will post some more background later on it in another day or so. I wanted to take more pictures but keep forgetting to take pics while playing and don't set it up after.
  8. Going to be visiting the In-laws in Tampa next week and looking to avoid them at least one night. I know the Warsenal guys at NOVA mentioned some where in Orlando on Thursdays for Infinity but didn't I didn't ask were. I think going down or any place to play some pickup games?
  9. Ahhh..that makes sense.
  10. Not sure I follow I follow the statement completely so I will address just the Speculo part. I agree that the roll is a 70% but depending on how the opponent deployed you can usually bypass the roll completely by staying out of the deployment zone. A list like this helps with providing some specialists and cover for the Avatar. The Morat could be easily replaced with a Witch Soldier if you wanted smoke. Combined Army ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 10 AVATAR Lieutenant (Strategos L3) MULTI HMG, Sepsitor Plus / DA CCW. (3.5 | 137) SLAVE DRONE Electric Pulse. (0 | 4) 6 SWC | 299 Points Open in Infinity Army Maakrep has Sixth Sense 1. That means she has to be the target. It wouldn't help if the Avatar was the target. Of course the Hacker wouldn't hurt at all. REQUIREMENTS In order to use Sixth Sense L1, An enemy must be inside the user's Zone of Control. That enemy must declare an Attack against the user.
  11. He takes a lot of work to be effective. A lot of it is dealing with the order pool and hiding cheerleaders. All that armor and BTS isn't much good if you have no orders. Played with the Avatar a lot in N2. Not sure if your planning on playing him in ITS but he is really more terrain dependent than mission to work properly. A good player will target the order pool which is the Avatar's greatest weakness. I talked to other CA players at events and we all had success with him as an unknown variable. In local circles, I had him work well by having him show up for a few events and then disappear. Players start expecting to see him and switch up their lists and then you have a "large" order pool list (which isn't really much larger) that catches them off guard. If your in the US, you bring him to a US event and watch him have fun against people that aren't expecting TAGs. That is until you hit the player that knows the game. One of the other CA players at NOVA brought him and wrecked face till he got me and I went for the cheerleaders. Your lists look good. Hard to get a lot of things covered with the points sunk into the Avatar. As previously mentioned, the Speculo Killer is good at taking out threats to the Avatar and being another threat that they have to deal with. I disagree. The Maakrep is great at removing threats that might be using camo or smoke. As an ARO piece, it's the best you can really get for the precious few points. I would say that Ko Dali is a little better choice but the Fraacta is great. Pop into a backfield and cause more havoc. If your opponent is moving forward and you drop a Fraacta with a spitfire in their backfield, they are going to make some hard decisions. I do like the Boarding Shotgun. Close range, she is a beast. All and all, the Avatar is a glass hammer. Don't get discouraged with any initial beatings you may get. In time, he can be another good piece to keep people on their toes.
  12. Hey Everyone, I am the lead on the Thursday Infinity Campaign at the NOVA Open this year. I wanted to start posting bits and pieces of intel for the event from the various groups to build on the plot of get people excited. Some pics of the various terrain that they might see at the event. We have a lot of things planned. We are making the missions asymmetric and have a few missions designed around the various factions to add some intrigue and depth. Basic Information: Infinity at the NOVA Open 2016 kicks off with its first campaign event, "Operation: Shattered Hope"! Following the events on Paradiso, and in preparation for an imminent full-scale invasion by the Combined Army, the O-12 High Command has called for joint military exercises to be conducted on and around Vánagandr, a vital research and supply center near Svalarheima. The highlight of this unprecedented cooperative gathering of the Human Sphere is a conference discussing the archaeological significance of the Cosmolites on Paradiso. However, unbeknownst to the delegation, one of the artifacts in their possession may have more value than they can even begin to understand, a value that could shift the balance of power against the Combined Army in their favor - or, allow the Combined Army to crush the Archeron blockade before the invasion has even begun. The Silence Before... The O-12 council is holding a meeting of delegates from the Human Sphere in the large shipping port of Sköll. Delegates have been arriving with large contingents of troops to participate in a series of war games prior to deployment to Paradiso. The PDF patrols have been doubled and designed to be much more "visible". This seems to have helped with the general calm. That and it seems like each unit commander for the seems to be doing their best to keep their people busy prepping for the war games. Despite the appearance of cooperation between the Armies of the Human Sphere, Intelligence and Counterintelligence teams have been deployed to keep their friends “honest”. Aside from several incidents dealing with illegal gambling and a few fights, the city is relatively trouble free. The O-12 paid for several mag-trains to carry several shipping containers from the Paradiso archaeological dig. Except from the initial inspection, PDF hasn’t been allowed within a 100 meters of the containers. The O-12 paid to have Druze Shock Troops to serve as guards. We’ll feel a lot better when they are off planet. Vánagandr Planetary Defense Force Data Log Entry
  13. Hey, I used the ITS site for our last event (GnS April Tournament) for pairings and scoring. One of the players that got a bye ended in second but after we redid the math and it looks like Objective Points aren't scoring correctly. He should have gotten first due to the first tie breaker being OP. The player got round OP scores were Round 1 - bye Round 2 - 9 Round 3 - 8 His OP should be 25.5 (multiply 3 rounds and divide by 2 rounds played) but he got 17 according t o the app. 1st place by the ITS app got 21 (10, 9, and 2). The reported 1st place got more victory points but the rules say OP is the first tie breaker. Any idea why the app is scoring differently?
