  1. Okay taking some of the above on board thought I would try for this. Like the idea of Some infiltration and these Locust look good (Not that I can find models)...but that can be changed out for a Crocman (30-32 version) I like the Cutter Lt thematically and can always start as a token until I have gotten the hang of new rules like Alert! LoL will be a worry, but this should hopefully be a step in the right direction.   2. Lot to think about here and a lot of opposing views! I shall have a play and come back with something. Though I am highly restriced by what I own currently (definintely no Mercs!) Having toruble tracking down a Hexas KHD Mini I could use (The Spitfire one seems apt as the Sniper is obviously a Sniper)
  3. Thanks for the advice! Some great points I tended to discount a lot of the Knights as there were a lot of them and didn't want to get too bogged down (The Black Friar looked new and shiny ) But the Father Knight looks cool. If you don't start the cutter in HD but as a marker is that a good trade for the extra order a turn?
  4. EVO Hacking seems useful? 4 Because I have 4 and they are cheap orders I can cut down to 1 group and upgrade the Fusiliers maybe.

  7. Not really looked at different missions, not played in ages. And then was just a couple of demo games. Is a Bolt Hacker a good idea? They seem pretty good at it but points are already pretty tight.

  11. Right that makes sense. But going back to my confusion as to when in movement does ARO happen...a very simple example would be someone that moves from LoF of an enemy to behind total cover... Can the ARO model shoot his at any point in the movement?

I am having trouble wrapping my ahead around a situation (well still confused by many, mostly around at what stage in movement do AROs happen) Say you are a CH marker near 2 enemies, you declare move as you want to get to CC with one of them. Now in this situation as you are revealed when you get into CC....can the ARO be shoot/countercharge/flee to the first order? or can they hold? If they they hold till you declare CC does that mean the enemy not being engaged has the negative to shoot into melee? Sorry having real issues with this one.
  13. Just looking through some of the forums there seems to be a large preference towards Sectorial forces and linked teams. Is this a natural evolution of playing that most people end up doing? Given the limited selection of troops in these lists it seems a waste to get a lot bits that then become useless once you move to a secotrial force. Please correct me if I am barking up the wrong tree it's just the impression I gotten.

Its just the "Full MOV value" that puts me off slightly...if you could just stop at cover that would be fine The combining impetuous troops could work though...running one with smoke first dropping the smoke and then hiding the rest behind it. Still I think relying on more reliable troops will be more my style. I am pretty worried about using a mechanic to repair a STR, only 65% chance of success or you LOSE another point! Seems way too risky!

Always feel tempted to go for the O-Yoroi as it is only a few more points than the Daofei. But then that requires a bunch of support etc..... AD seems pretty powerful....if you drop out of a couple of enemies LoF you can really wreak havok....or is this pretty easily avoided?
