  1. This stuff is pure gold. Thank you so much for taking the time to do it!!
  2. Yes please! Also how did two kerails work out, and what was the reason you put the kaauri in the 2nd group? What gave you the most headache, unit/opponent/mission-wise, and what were you able to handle without too much trouble? Anything you would have done differently in hindsight? So yeah basically can you do a detailed batrep for all of your matches so nubs like me can learn how the big boys play? Not like they take a long time to write or anything... ;D
  3. Also excellent, thank you! Love how it looks like she's about to pull the pistol to finish the job!
  4. Sorry I meant an actual HMG rather than a viral rifle proxy, that doesn't look too tacked on, so basically this: Exactly the kind of thing I was after, be very keen to read the post but in the meantime thanks very much as that's enough to at least get me started in the right direction! (they all look sweet btw)
  5. Has anyone done one, and if so what bits did you cannabalise to make it? Would quite like to be able to use a Sukeul with a proper HMG but not sure how to tackle it...
  6. Hey just discovered you're the Lonely Artichoke guy, man that whole site is pure gold for Tohaa players, especially nubs like me, so thanks!

  7. And this is why I should check what's available before posting... write in haste and all. So in light of that: I second this with ever fibre of my being.
  8. Spitfire for the 4th slot. Also, Sukeul HMG soon please!!
  9. Death by attrition, also viable, especially against haqq and ariadna, who can just play the averages with wave after wave of cheap yet effective fodder... ;D Also those damn mutts and their damny damn jammers.... Tbh both the Kosuil and aleis were direct responses to haqq/ariadna camo spam and general mutt havoc... nothing like having 45 points and 2 swc worth of trooper taken out by a 5p disposable... Plus, if I'm letting a baggage drone get within flamethrower range of me, something has gone seriously wrong and I deserve any fiery death that ensues... pain is nothing if not a wonderfully effective teacher. ;D
  10. The only way to kill an Ectros: Military Orders ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 6 1 JOAN OF ARC Lieutenant MULTI Rifle, Nanopulser / Pistol, AP CCW. 11. Good shout, I'm still playing with groupings, the assumption being that at some point early on the go-rael will go down, so the sukeul will link up and move out with the remaining two of the triad. Whether that's a kaeltar and a makaul (preferred option), two kaeltars, or just play more conservatively with the go-rael and use him with the sukeul and another as a mobile long-range weapons platform is still up for experimentation. I quite like the go rael linked with two kaeltars and the sukiel on his own further forward in suppression fire as well, especially if I'm going first. Just as the go-rael sniper has been Dasaan's MVP, the vulcan ectros has been mine so far. That guy is just a beast!! I've used him to hose down fireteams, take out HI duos, charge the backline and just sit there being unkillable with his symbiomate.... I love that dude! 38 points for a minimum 4 wound model that can deliver 3 dice of fire or ap ammo.... the amount of headache he causes just on his own is laughable.
  12. Thanks for that, that's really helpful! I'm guessing this is going to be the prevailing theme, keep the kosuil, ditch aelis. Shame, as I do like her, especially viral triangulated fire, but yeah... niche and expensive, and funny you said about the kerail, it's my next purchase as I agree 2 go-rael are just begging for normal smoke, so without her I could do something like this: Tohaa Neema v2 ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 110 2 KERAIL PRECEPTOR Submachine Gun, Smoke Grenades + 1 Surda SymbioBeast / Pistol, Electric Pulse. (0 | 20) SURDA SYMBIOBEAST Pulzar / Viral CCW. (0 | 8) NEEMA Lieutenant (Advanced Command) Breaker Combi Rifle, Panzerfaust, Nanopulser / Viral Pistol, Shock CCW. (+1 | 46) ECTROS Vulkan Shotgun, Nanopulser / Pistol, Shock CC Weapon. (0 | 38) KOSUIL Engineer K1 Combi Rifle, D-Charges, Nullifier / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 29) GAO-RAEL Spitfire / Pistol, CCW. (1.5 | 33) KAELTAR (Chain of Command) Light Shotgun, Flash Pulse + 2 SymbioMates / Pistol, Electric Pulse. (0.5 | 21) MAKAUL Heavy Flamethrower, Eclipse Grenades / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 13) GAO-RAEL Sniper Rifle / Pistol, CCW. (1 | 31) KAELTAR (Chain of Command) Light Shotgun, Flash Pulse + 2 SymbioMates / Pistol, Electric Pulse. (0.5 | 21) MAKAUL Heavy Flamethrower, Eclipse Grenades / Pistol, Viral CCW. (0 | 13) GROUP 21 SUKEUL HMG, D-Charges / Pistol, Breaker Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 35) 5 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army I like having 2 makaul in there, plus every triad has a specialist now as well. This is the killy list but it's still handy to have a few on the board, especially an engi in enemy territory for d-charging. It bothers me that I still have unused SWC though, especially with Neema's +1, feels like such a missed opportunity, so I really like your "all the guns" list a lot, with a hmg ectros (such a beautiful mini as well) I'd be tempted to use a missile launcher sukuel/go-rael sniper with the diplomatic delegate for support for ultimate ARO annoyance...
  13. Hi all, I'm new to Tohaa but not Infinity and would love some advice. I've run the list below 6-7 times for direct action missions and been really pleased with most of it, but I haven't run it enough to know if a few key players justify their cost, so would love your thoughts and opinions. Here's the list and what I have done with it in the past: Tohaa Neema v2 ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 10 1 NEEMA Lieutenant (Advanced Command) Breaker Combi Rifle, Panzerfaust, Nanopulser / Viral Pistol, Shock CCW. (+1 | 46) ECTROS Vulkan Shotgun, Nanopulser / Pistol, Shock CC Weapon. (0 | 38) KOSUIL Engineer K1 Combi Rifle, D-Charges, Nullifier / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 29) GAO-RAEL Spitfire / Pistol, CCW. (1.5 | 33) HATAIL AELIS KEESAN Viral Combi Rifle, Nanopulser, Flash Pulse, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 33) MAKAUL Heavy Flamethrower, Eclipse Grenades / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 13) SUKEUL HMG, D-Charges / Pistol, Breaker Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 35) GAO-RAEL Sniper Rifle / Pistol, CCW. (1 | 31) KAELTAR (Chain of Command) Light Shotgun, Flash Pulse + 2 SymbioMates / Pistol, Electric Pulse. (0.5 | 21) KAELTAR (Chain of Command) Light Shotgun, Flash Pulse + 2 SymbioMates / Pistol, Electric Pulse. (0.5 | 21) 5.5 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army Triad 1: Neema, Ectros, Kosuil Born to die, their job is to take out as much stuff as they can before they snuff it. I like the kosuil for anti-armour, nullifier, and fixing imm, but a makaul replacement would allow better mobility and CC, making it easier to set up flanking shots with the vulcan shotgun and allowing the triad to break and be a monster in CC against an unprepared backline. Triad 2: Go-rael spitfire, Aelis, Makaul Anti-camo hunters, I love the toolbox aleis brings (esp sensor against camo spam), and viral is always nice, but she's fragile and expensive, and a kamael white hacker or FO would bring a solid specialist for far cheaper. Triad 3: Go-rael sniper/Sukiel HMG + 2 Kaeltars ARO PITA/Mobile gun platform - I link the go-rael with the kaeltars first and shoot at stuff until he dies, then reform the link with the sukiel and hopefully move out and mop up what's left after neema's rampage. Pretty happy overall with what these guys do. So for this list, are Aleis and the Kosuil worth it in your views? Replacing them with cheaper alternatives would free up some points for a few more cheap orders, a go-tarsos, maybe a neurokenetic chaksa... but would the utility those two bring be worth more?
  14. The Clipsos, the knee spikes on the Ectros, the fins on the Gao Tarsos, Neema's physics-defying pole dancing.... Tohaa sure are pretty, but they definitely make you work for it.
  15. Needs a fugazi. Otherwise, looks legit. ;D
