  1. <Hexahedron reports on PanOceanian military personal> <<Commanders>> <<<Access to Ayadan's personal profile>>> Ayadan is the the kind of commander that our political, industry and military policy can produce from time to time. His real identity is actually unknown by the Hexahedron as it seems that all datas relating to him about his life before Moto.tronica hired him had been erased. ALEPH knows who he is and surely some big bosses in Moto.tronica but all investigations in this direction resulted in the same answer: who the fuck is this guy? Though, even if there is shadows on his past, there are things known. He is French. There are some habits that you can't totally erase from your childerhood, like an addictivity to bread, salted butter and cheeses. He is a young and promising officer that shown off rapidly among his former classmates once out the military school of Neoterra. Moto.tronica hired him before he entered in the military school and it seems that the company wanted an officer in the Army directly bounded to it. Which is, of course, legal but rare to see and a bit surprising. What is even more surprising is that Moto.tronica used its influence in the HQ to leverage the formation of a independent group (the125th Neoterran Intervention Group) leaded by Ayadan. The commander had the authorization to pick up any soldier he could need in any Army corp of the Neoterran Capitaline Army. Thing that he took at word as he chose to pick up directly in the finest troops we can field in the first month of the legal existence of his group. He even manage to convince ALEPH to lend some of its Personnas and robots. Presence of Hexa Agents in the group suspected but not confirmed. This could explain the disappearance of some datas as explained later. Since then, Ayadan operates under the orders of the PanOceanian HQ as any other PanOceanian commander but there are some blanks in the activity of the group and uncommonly increase of the maintenance presence in the Moto.tronica facilities during them. In the same way, some operations last much time than planned and unexpected radio silence occured during some of them. It is though that Ayadan and the 47th SIG has some extra orders and missions that are occured from the records. Surely some industrial spying black ops that are aiming industrial rivals of the Company. Those operations should have been granted by high results as he had recently recieved the authorization to form a second intervention group, the 8th Rapid Intervention Group of Acontecimento. Both of the groups under the orders of Ayadan are known under the denomination of the 47th Special Intervention Group. With the incoming crisis occuring in the Wotan Blockade, Commander Ayadan has been sent to the Sygtir stations to reinforce the security there. We suspect that Moto.tronica sees in this deployment an excuse to send his agent for some industrial spying on the rest of the Human Sphere as well as providing some troops to the defence of the Mankind. It has been stated that Commander Ayadan is not a threat for the supremacy of PanOceania and as such, doesn't request any attention of the Hexahedron at the moment. <<Closing Personal File>>
  2. Hi everybody, it's me again. While I was discussing about TAGs and their pilots with a friend of mine, I was reading more carefully the Remote Pilot skill and find out those lines: A TAG or Vehicle in a Null state is considered a casualty and therefore does not generate Orders in the Order count, even if the Remote Pilot is on the game table. In the same way, in this situation the Remote Pilot is considered neither a surviving trooper nor a casualty for Victory Points, Retreat!, or any other purposes. http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Remote_Pilot So, I was wondering what the last one would could mean. Let's take some ITS scenarios to illustrate: Comm Center: in this scenario, there are 3 points for killing more specialists than the opponent. Does the Remote Pilot skill means that if the TAG is in Null State, the Remote Pilot doesn't count as a specialist killed even if it was in Null State before the TAG? If the Remote Pilot is in Null State but not the TAG at the end of the game, does the Remote Pilot count as a killed specialist? In Antenna Field, if the TAG is in Null State but the Remote Pilot not, can it control an antenna as a specialist during the game? In the same situation, can it control an antenna at the end of the game? That's all for me but, as it is not stated that the Remote Pilot is removed from the game when the TAG is killed, I'm wondering about the true power of those parts of the ruling of the skill.
  3. Thank you for your answers. Don't worry, I know how to deal with Camo spam, just wanted to verify as I have played camo tokens and minelayers only since January, so I'don't know all the tricks to confuse my opponents yet.
  4. Last night, I had a game versus an Ariadna player. When he achieved his deployment, I asked him in which group were his Camo markers. He said me that it was a private informations and that he didn't had to share it to me. Further in the game, a Foxtrot revealed herself. I asked him if she had mines, how many left and if she was minelayer and he said me that he didn't have to say such informations to me. But this morning, I was checking all this stuff and found no Private Information label for minelayer nor for camouflage/camouflage state and in the Mine weapon profile. So, I'm asking if he was right or not. Maybe it could be good to have a chart summing up all the weapons/special skills and deployment that are Private informations.
  5. I'm surprised. Regular Minelayer isn't already an answer to warband and DA? And BSG don't prevent a WB to make some chainrifle rampage. I don't see where the shotgun will prevent a Devildog to onslaught the fireteam.
  6. I'm agree with @YoJamesBo, Squalo is a really interesting buy and not seen so often. Cutter and Jotum are more used and known. If you play in a meta where the spam is a must, Squalo will change it fast. HGL needs some practice to understand when to persist and when it's time to change your plans. And which troopers make wrong targets. I'll suggest you to take the Seraph/tikbalang in a third stage as you certainly will try a mobile TAG. Seraph is the most interesting in this case but lacks the resilience of the Tikbalang. All our TAGs are interesting to play though.
  7. So, I played some training games this afternoon with a new player who will participate to the tournament too. First game was Firefight with a reworked version of the first list @Commoner1 suggested to me: Liste test ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 110 TIKBALANG HMG, Heavy Flamethrower, Antipersonnel Mines / AP CCW. (2 | 85) CRABBOT Flash Pulse / Knife. (0) GUARDA DE ASSALTO MULTI Rifle + Heavy Flamethrower, D-Charges + AUXBOT_2 / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 49) AUXBOT_2 Light Shotgun + Eclipse Light Grenade Launcher / Electric Pulse. (- | 6) REGULAR Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) REGULAR (Minelayer, Sensor) Combi Rifle, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 14) REGULAR (Sapper) MULTI Sniper Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 22) REGULAR Lieutenant Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) REGULAR Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) TRAUMA-DOC Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) MACHINIST Combi Rifle, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 15) PALBOT Electric Pulse. (0 | 3) NAGA Hacker (Killer Hacking Device) Combi Rifle, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 30) GROUP 22 1 FUGAZI DRONBOT Flash Pulse, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 8) SIERRA DRONBOT HMG / Electric Pulse. (1 | 25) TECH-BEE (Remote Assistant Level 1, Specialist Operative) Flash Pulse / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5) 5 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army The table was a bit hard to play on as there was very high blocks of building in each deployment zone and a huge no-man's land in the middle in a form of an avenue (we were playing on a table used for Shadow war Armageddon). So snipers, Total Reac and Neurocinetics could do a great job here. And did. My opponent still have some problems with his deployment and except for the Total reaction HMG bot and the Sin Eater HMG, all his troopers were on the open. So Tikbalang, Sierra, Tech-Bee and Fugazi had a really gorgeous time with a lot of ARO each time my opponent activated something. Dealing with Sin Eater is still a challenge and this trooper is really good for ARO though. Second game was Safe Area with Liste 1. We switched sides and he gave me the first turn. Less mistakes in deployment but exposing his Taskmaster Lt to my regular sniper wasn't the greatest idea. Though, the poor gilr had to survive to a Reaktion Zond and a Sin Eater HMG too. I took out the TR bot first, and the Sin Eater put her inconscious. Had a lucky fire to have my Montesa Spitfire critting the Sin Eater HMG, removing the threat, letting the Trauma Doc heals her. Then the Taskmaster had his fate sealed against the regular Sniper. So I think I have my two lists I was seeking for. I'll try to report you how it went Sunday.
  8. I prefer the first one, except I don't like AHD and prefer KHD instead. I take it and rework it a bit. I have a game tomorrow. I'll report you how it did.
  9. Something like this? Shock Army of Acontecimento ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 110 TIKBALANG HMG, Heavy Flamethrower, Antipersonnel Mines / AP CCW. (2 | 85) CRABBOT Flash Pulse / Knife. (0) GUARDA DE ASSALTO MULTI Rifle + Heavy Flamethrower, D-Charges + AUXBOT_2 / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 49) AUXBOT_2 Light Shotgun + Eclipse Light Grenade Launcher / Electric Pulse. (- | 6) REGULAR Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) REGULAR (Minelayer, Sensor) Combi Rifle, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 14) REGULAR (Sapper) MULTI Sniper Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 22) REGULAR Lieutenant Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) REGULAR Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) TRAUMA-DOC Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) MACHINIST Combi Rifle, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 15) NAGA (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 28) GROUP 21 TEUCER (Multispectral Visor L2) K1 Sniper, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 43) 5.5 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army Could work but I'm not sold. That's not I dislike the mix between TAG and HI, just that between a Tik and Guarda/ORC/Montesa, the choices aren't cheap and I need points to patch them and for Nagas too.
  10. Hello everybody, Sunday, I have a tourney and I'll bring my ASA bastards to bring glory to the Hyperpower. Missions will be: Supplies, Safe Area and Firefight So no exclusion zone, I can put the forward warfare to the maximum if I like it and I think I won't be the only one to think this. I know there will be another PanO player but I don't know if he'll go with MO or vanilla (but I think there will be a list with one of these TOFOOS and another list with knights and/or maybe a TAG). There will be also Bakunin, Corregidor, Qapu Khalqi, Morats (with a list with a Raicho or a team of Sogarats), JSA and ISS. So my concern is to be able to bring enough forward firepower in the midfield while being able to handle with TAGs where ASA can struggle easily if the good tools aren't in the field (you miss me Swiss Guard ML). Here are the lists: Liste 2b ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 10 KNIGHT OF MONTESA Spitfire, Chain-colt / Breaker Pistol, Shock CCW. (2 | 50) KNIGHT OF MONTESA Combi Rifle + Light Grenade Launcher, Chain-colt / Breaker Pistol, Shock CCW. 11. Only 2 Tikbalangs (one is Eduardo), 1 Uhlan, 1 Squalo and 1 Dragao but I plan in a far future to have all the PanO TAGs in at least one exemplar each. The dual Squalos and Seraph are attempting me too.
  12. Squalo HGL because it is a well rounded murder machine. First, the model with its MULTI HMG that looks like the experimental gun in Total Eclipse (which I'm fond of). Second, it is a TAG that lacks the love that are having Cutter, Jotum and all our light TAGs because it is said to be "vanilla" even if I find him really far to be vanilla. Third, the load out is very good. having a AP Heavy pistol changes it in a dangerous opponent, even in close range firefight where other TAGs only rely on a HFT.
  13. Uhlan has surprise shot AFAIK. And if you play with terrains, the low vis will give you the last MOD.
  14. For ASA, dragao and tikbalang are really good at this. Neoterran links with ML are good too. And of course, Squalo, Cutter and Uhlan solve you the problem easily.
  15. By the Holy hand grenade of Antioch!
