  1. Uhlan has surprise shot AFAIK. And if you play with terrains, the low vis will give you the last MOD.
  2. For ASA, dragao and tikbalang are really good at this. Neoterran links with ML are good too. And of course, Squalo, Cutter and Uhlan solve you the problem easily.

  4. IMHO it's more : Sensor : cheaper and more effective to discover ennemy troops and make the path clear than an MSV troop which is most of the time a MI. Regular is premium here but Pathfinder is good too. Machinist KHD : HD or AHD bring less than KHD in a defensive cyberwar. But HD is good too as the plateforms are cheaper. So Fusiliers and Regulars are good here too. Close range weaponry : DTW and rifles/shotguns. My love here go for CSU and Bulleteer.
  5. A bit a shame that @Daboarder doesn't participate anymore in this forum but the TAG problem is more something about list construction and use than just pushing buttons. Since I started this game, one year ago, there is only one tournament where I didn't bring at least a TAG. And while I have to improve myself in the way I play them, I find more and more that they really fit in any sort of mission. Even against Ariadna or Nomads because the hardest time is the turn 1. After this one, things are way easier if you just managed to keep them on their feet because your opponent knows that first turn is the best time to have the most part of the objectives before his specialists get killed and he will try eithe to push as much button as he can or kill the TAG. Well protected, a TAG is really difficult to dislodge. The biggest problem I have is to face spam list players that can't play their list fast. And facing a TAG or two doesn't help with this. Last time, I was facing a pretty new Ariadna player playing a 16 orders list and we just had two turns. So much for "kill first, do stuff later"... But I second the ammo play again. There is really a thing that can be done to make PanO really shiny. What was made with HS is the kind of things that I, and I don't think I'm alone, want to see widespreaded in the faction and sectorials, even on some old units in some new profiles.
  6. I just think that we both don't put the same value on the same points. Shinobu was an example but it could be any dangerous TO camo unit that is dangerous to come close. The same for monomines. FO drone doesn't have 2ARM, NWI nor a DTW. It is pretty good to do all the things around designation and discovering but it is a poor gunfighter compared to a Deva. You can use SML if you prefer but I find them really order intensive. LGL are less powerful but spec fire is more useful than guided missiles. I usually play NCA in the same range of orders that you seem to do in Aleph and Deva Sensor find its place, even aside Squalos, Bolts or Aquilas who are as expensive as your own stuff.

But I'm a newbie in Aleph lists so you may answer that there are some wrong choices but this list seems to be ok, in my mind. The FO drone has the problem of being really fragile and not so effective and versatile as Deva is. They have not exactly the same role and even if they can compete, they can complete each other too. As for the mines, that's exactly what I said. If you have a doubt, Sensor grants you discover with no risk. Pretty useful when it is a mono mine or the TO Camo token is Shinobu waiting in a corner to engage your Asura. Dakini LGL is way enough. It can be a bit order expensive but safer than just risk your troops. And once discovered, you're free to Spotlight him.
  8. I think you don't face enough heavy camo factions to find the sensor pointless. With your Lamedh, you drop 1-2 sniffers near those pesky camo infiltrators or where they could be if facing TO ones and in one short skill, you discover all at once and with no dice roll. It is more effective than MSV2 in this case. NWI grant him to play the role of a CQB camo removal since you pop with a movement and wait for the ARO. If the guy shot, a combi burst or a nanopulser shot should be enough. If he doesn't anything, Discover at +6 + other mods. I can't see where you can find better for this price. MSV units struggle when getting one camo is blocking the path and you are eligible to multiple AROs if you come to get him in LoF or if the camo token is too dangerous. Sensor grants you to discover without LoF and then shoot him with DTW or Grenades.
  9. The absence of Machaon or a Dactyl is a bit dull, I think. And I find Diomedes funnier to play than Penny. Plus the fact that you loose your friends faster with Diomedes than Penny.

  11. ORC Troopers would say: "Mor' dakka! Dakka dakka dakka!" But yes, the access to an ammo play in PanO stuff would enlarge the "shoot stuff" thing and really bring the high end thing together. Maybe one Feuerbach profile (dunno, for KotHS or anyone of our bland HI or anyone else) more could be great. Don't think Viral, K1, T2, and Mono should be there though because of the specificity those ammunitions embody but stun, nanotech and breaker ammos would fit very well. Special ammo on GL would be wonderful too. Nanotech LGL would be a great thing for Montesa, for example and not so broken since some factions are near entirely protected againts BTS-hitting ammos.
  12. I think that is the idea of many but there are disagreeing about what and some exagerations too. As far as I followed the thread, this is what is the most asked: - Other stuff for ORCs than just HMG of Multi rifle available for Vanilla - Few new profiles for KotHS (because two of the four are just copy paste and add Lieutenant). - Something for Teuton to reach their target. - More Auxbots and maybe more different. - More SMGs/Breaker combi, EM weapons etc. In fact more non normal ammo short range weapons to illustrate the shooting high end faction And all this in respect to the idea that PanO packs this in an effective way. There are already examples of what is asked in the body of Spec Serg HRL, Multi Black Friar, Locust (and in my mind Montesa too), but maybe Thorakitai style of weapons could fit too (except CR as we prefer nanopulser in PanO, as it seems).
