  3. Holoechos are models until you reveal which of the three is the actual one. ARO declaration does not change, if an enemy model can see more than one, they declare after your first skill declaration (and movement) then you declare your second short skill then resolve the order. If the AROing model chose the wrong echo, their shots are wasted. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

  5. 1. The scenario Doesn't have any rule revealing LTs. Play as normal. 2. We let the reactive player drive in the case of multiple targets but also had a 3rd party run them for a turn while they watched. 3. The second part being there will never occur with no quarter. We can assume unless clarified, it was left in by mistake. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  6. Doors? I know nothing. Now, either you lean on the side of it happens immediately (as other movement skills) or at resolution. All scenario driven doors are attack skill based and open at resolution. I lean on the side of at resolution; yes it slows gameplay down a bit, but at least it is an identifiable step. Make a local decision and ask your TO if you travel. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  7. While you can use these for measurement advantage (to a point) so to can fixed 3rd party buildings dimensions, HVT placement, deployment placement, objective placement. There are also those who have a 'carpenter's' eye and just estimate the distance all the time regardless of table based assists. So... meh Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  8. Carlos is coming if I remember correctly. Thats why there the tournaments are spread over two days to accommodate the seminars
  9. This is why we can't have nice things. Players using units that are available to them in their faction is not a crutch. Infinity is a game, when boiled down beyond the factions, of extensive critical thinking. Players that bring up "OP", "crutches", "Broken" haven't made it to a point where they are only puzzling out the situation at hand and are instead focusing on how someone else's choices made the game "too easy" for them vs "too hard" for themselves. Its a game heavily skewed towards the player, not the list or the faction. Speaking of which... no more intruders for me for a while.
  10. Or as a giant "F You" when the extraction shuttle is pulling out... Or if they give zero cares about dying due to cubes.
  11. No idea how you would exercise the 'optional' label on a piece of equipment. No orders are spent which is how you turn on or off an optional skill.
  12. To be fair, one location (the mainsite) had a time associated with it. The rest of the emails did not have the 11:59 CEST mentioned.
  13. No axe to grind at all right there... Speed, for me, comes from familiarity with the models I use and the situations I've been in. I train and play by reflex mostly (which gets me in trouble when i hit a corner case that I haven't seen yet) so my decisions are fairly instant. I plan the most during my opponents turn, assessing, reassessing as plan A, B C, etc. Go up and down based on how my aros go and where my opponent ends up. There is so much instinct in play that I find it hard to explain sometimes. There a few more folks that can articulatr better than I. Its a good idea, but you can't substitute experience.
  14. The Manned rule allows the pilot to declare skills even when the TAG is unconscious. You can 'dodge' to dismount with a pilot in ARO.
