  1. So, as a new player that picked up the Onyx box, should I really look at vanilla CA (i.e. get a EI Lt.) to learn the game and then move to the sectorial list after some experience?
  2. What would you do with the CA Onyx starter box where half the models are REMs? Just ignore the hacker requirement during list building?
  3. Infinity seems to be gaining traction around here and I would like to collect a small army to start. I have played a couple of demos under the last edition but nothing under the new edition. I really like the looks of the Unidrons and I want to keep with that theme. I have always been attracted to robots and aliens and the Unidrons have both covered! I plan to purchase the following: - Combined Starter Pack (Onyx) - Unidrons 4 pack - Drone Remotes Anything else I should consider? I have never cared for the Morats so please don't suggest any of those models. I have seen the Nexus mentioned in a few lists. Are there any models yet for this profile? Thanks in advance for your help.

  5. Newb question - why the HMG over the Plasma?
  6. This may be a newb question but what do you mean by the bolded comment above?
  7. Is the Shrouded a decent hacker?
  8. I literally just orderd some minis this morning. I went with the Shasvastii box set, drone box, Aswang and Cadmus (I like the model). Should be a decent start.
  9. Thanks for the feedback. I haven't read the hacker rules yet but I suspect they are more important than I thought. Back to the drawing board.
  10. So I just picked up the basic rulebook only to discover ALEPH isn't in there. Looking over the available minis, there seems to be two visual themes going which I will call robots (Tactbots) and cyborgs (Devas, Nagas, etc.) I really like the look of the robots but I'm not such a fan of the cyborgs. My question is this - is it possible to run effective lists only using robots? Or will I end up limiting myself too greatly? Having never played a game yet, I came up with the following list based on robot models I like. Will I end up handicapping my self too much? Any glaring weaknesses? What do you think?
