  1. I'm trying to submit my lists for a tournament. One list that I have in Army, saved for ITS, does not show up for selection. I have tried remaking the list from scratch and naming it a different name and it still won't show up even if other new lists do. Any help?
  2. Hello, On the whole, I think Army is fantastic. There are a couple points of contention I have, though. One being that the martial arts chart is not a part of the printout when you print a PDF. People may think it's clutter, but I swear having to pull up the martial arts chart separately is my most desperate "first world problem" of infinity. Even just the option to make it toggleable on the PDF printouts when you have a trooper with martial arts would be so nice. If it were implemented so that if a trooper in the list has Martial arts, it just brings up the Martial Arts chart for quick use. For that matter, if there were checkmarks you could toggle to include charts used by troopers within a list, like i-Kohl, Martial Arts, Protheon, stuff like that, I think it would be super slick. Just my two cents, and thanks for making an already amazing list-building program completely free of charge. Made my old warhammer self weep when I first saw it.
  3. We use the "courtesy list" prints with reference pages at the table quite a bit, but we keep having to look elsewhere for the Sustained Fire profile. Would adding it to the weapons page of a list when weapons are capable of it be practical? Am I just missing a setting?
  4. I was thinking about doing an all myridom or all thorakitai list but I wasn't sure how well that would work out. So I just thought I would ask and see what you all thought of it. I was going to be using things like kts, druze , djanbazan and other miniatures from various armies I like as proxies since I like aleph's rules but I am not a big fan of their miniatures.
  5. I've been going through my copy of starship troopers again and it's got me itchin'. I would really like to create an army where every model has a jump pack of some sort but I am not sure if this is possible or even a competitive thing to do. I haven't seen it before but I mostly just play with a few friends and leave it at that. Is it possible to run an all jump pack list? If it is what is the best army to run it with? I had a similar interest in an all heavy infantry list but i'll create a separate topic for that here in a bit.
  6. Recently I've been expanding all of my armies. My panoceania and Haqqislam forces in particular have been growing rapidly. But it occured to me recently that I don't really have anything other than vanilla and QK units for my haqqlists. I was going to expand a bit and buy the hassassin starter and was wondering. Would you take Vanilla or Hassassin forces? Which do you think is more fun or more difficult to pull off well? Also since folks are here I suppose I should also ask what hassassin units are a must have in vanilla or the hassassin sectorials? Military orders as well if you wouldn't mind.
  7. I was just wondering which faction is the most popular? Go ahead and vote for whichever army is your favorite or whichever armies you play.
  8. In a recent game against an Ariadna army I learned a bit about how important both camo and multispectral visors can be. From what I understand there are two units in the haqq line up with MSV . These being the Djan and the Govads. I was just wondering , if I was playing vanilla haqq which one is the better choice overall?
  9. I've recently bought the vanilla yu jing starter and I am going to buy both red veil and the imperial service starter. I was just wondering what would best compliment these purchases to have a nice well rounded army? For certain things (Like celestial guard and the basic infantry) I have models to proxy them.
  10. I have to main issues with my account: 1. It doesn't show my "nick" or my Faction, when I sign up to an event and even in the results both fields show up blank. The only thing shown is my PIN. 2. I can't submit lists to events because I don't have the "ITS" tab when I log in to Army. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated
  11. I was painting this evening and I wanted to try something. I was inspired by various depictions of the SAS to do an all black army. The problem is that an all black army can look kind of boring on the battlefield. I was just wondering what are some little things I could do to keep the Black but maybe spice it up a bit? I was thinking painting the eyes and maybe some lights on them a different brighter color. I am also working on something similar to this http://www.tradearabia.com/source/2013/06/19/iraq.jpg https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=iraqi+special+forces&view=detailv2&id=DEFFCBDE01EB177C5ECCB94F93101412BBA52C39&selectedindex=14&ccid=sWHyg2Xz&simid=608020984861035688&thid=OIP.Mb161f28365f3e0d42a87d8366f2a2325H0&mode=overlay&first=1 I rather like the look of the tan and black together there. I'll take some pictures when I can get the damn camera to focus properly.

  13. So after a recent discussion as well as acquisition of funds my friends and I might just go ahead and buy a starter for each faction. Whether or not this means operation icestorm, red veil and the USA ariadna army box I am uncertain. What I was wondering is what the best general starters were for new players and what are the general pros and cons to certain sets? I personally have my rather large pan o army coming in as well as having my eye on a few nomad and yu jing lots but I figured it wouldn't hurt to have a bit of representation from every faction.
  14. Which is generally a better unit ? I wanted to add some mercs to my pan o or haqqislamite forces.

  16. Howdy! I'm relatively new to JSA, and not too experienced in Infinity yet either. I've got a tournament coming up and I was wondering if I could get some critique on my lists. I'll give a brief idea of the tactics I'd use, but I've played very few ITS missions, so if there are some generic tips and tricks per mission, I'd like to hear it! The first list will cover the ITS Missions Transmission Matrix and Antenna Field. These are specialist intensive missions, even by ITS standards, so I went with plenty of hackers, FOs, and Shikami to give myself as many options as possible to nab objectives. Transmission Matrix / Antenna Field ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 19 1 3 ASUKA KISARAGI Lieutenant Combi Rifle + Light Flamethrower / Assault Pistol, Knife. (0 | 27) ARAGOTO Hacker (Assault Hacking Device) Combi Rifle + Light Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 30) KEISOTSU Hacker (Hacking Device) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 17) KEISOTSU (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) KEISOTSU Missile Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 14) KEISOTSU Missile Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 14) KEMPEI (Chain of Command) Boarding Shotgun / Pistol, CCW, Electric Pulse. (0 | 21) YOJIMBO Contender, Nanopulser, Smoke Grenades, CrazyKoalas (2) / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 21) SHIKAMI (Fireteam: Duo) Contender, Nimbus Grenades / Assault Pistol, DA CCW, AP CCW, Knife. (0.5 | 46) SHIKAMI Contender, Nimbus Grenades / Assault Pistol, DA CCW, AP CCW, Knife. (0 | 45) GROUP 22 PANGGULING Hacker (EVO Hacking Device) Electric Pulse. (0.5 | 25) NINJA Hacker (Killer Hacking Device) Tactical Bow / Pistol, DA CCW, Knife. (0 | 29) 5 SWC | 299 Points Open in Infinity Army This list was built with Transmission Matrix in mind, with the ability to also complete Antenna Field, thus hackers everywhere. The EVO, I found out the hard way, is excellent in this mission due to Kaleidoscope, where you can give all of your opponents AROs to hacking a -3. Since there is hacking going on all over the place, it can be pretty devastating. The Ninja KHD can infiltrate near the center objective to pop one of the enemy hackers in ARO, and the Aragoto hacker will just do what she does. Shikami can provide a large amount of points in a transmission area, but are vulnerable to all the hacking. The second list will cover the ITS mission Safe Area. It still requires a decent amount of specialists, but only at the very end when the smoke clears, so I toned them down a little. Safe Area ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 110 3 SHIKAMI (Fireteam: Duo) Contender, Nimbus Grenades / Assault Pistol, DA CCW, AP CCW, Knife. (0.5 | 46) SHIKAMI Combi Rifle / Pistol, DA CCW, AP CCW, Knife. (0 | 47) KEMPEI (Chain of Command) Boarding Shotgun / Pistol, CCW, Electric Pulse. (0 | 21) KEISOTSU Missile Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 14) KEISOTSU (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) KEISOTSU Missile Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 14) KEISOTSU (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) ARAGOTO Hacker (Assault Hacking Device) Combi Rifle + Light Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 30) ARAGOTO Boarding Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 19) ASUKA KISARAGI Lieutenant Combi Rifle + Light Flamethrower / Assault Pistol, Knife. (0 | 27) GROUP 22 2 1 YOJIMBO Contender, Nanopulser, Smoke Grenades, CrazyKoalas (2) / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 21) RUI SHI Spitfire / Electric Pulse. (1 | 20) TOKUSETSU EISEI Doctor (MediKit) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) YÁOZĂO Electric Pulse. (0 | 3) WARCOR (Sixth Sense L1) Flash Pulse / Stun Pistol, Knife. (0 | 3) 5 SWC | 299 Points Open in Infinity Army The aim of this list is to have the Keisotsu deploy in one half of my field, and the Rui Shi will cover the advance of bikes and/or Shikami in the other half of my deployment. The doctor will park a bot with the Keisotsu, and hang out until the end to try and grab a console. The aragoto will try to disrupt the midfield and Shikami will try to nab some backfield specialists. I feel this list could maybe use some infilitration, but I don't know what I'd drop, or what exactly I'd want to add in. I also considered swapping the Rui Shi with a Lu Duan to use the sweet new Holoprojector rules. Anyways, those were my ideas behind the lists. Any advise or critique would be awesome.
  17. So, I finally found a Infinity group since forever. Trying a few ideas for my first N3 list, looking for advice. Military Orders ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 9 4 KNIGHT OF SANTIAGO Lieutenant Spitfire, Nanopulser, E/M Grenades / Pistol, AP CCW. (1 | 44) MAGISTER KNIGHT Panzerfaust, Light Shotgun / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 23) MAGISTER KNIGHT Panzerfaust, Light Shotgun / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 23) MAGISTER KNIGHT Panzerfaust, Light Shotgun / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 23) MAGISTER KNIGHT Panzerfaust, Light Shotgun / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 23) ORDER SERGEANT Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13) ORDER SERGEANT Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13) ORDER SERGEANT Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13) SPEC. SERGEANT (Multispectral Visor L2) Spitfire / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 24) 2.5 SWC | 199 Points Open in Infinity Army The idea is to have a knight fireteam. It if gets close to the enemy it can split up so Magisters can engage things in melee. Spec sergeant is used as a secondary ranged threat.
  18. I wasn't entirely sure where to share this so i'll just post it here. I recently got a bunch of cash and decided I kind of missed Warhammer 40k. So I decided to go on ebay, buy some minis and play a game or two. I quickly found myself missing infinity for a pretty good number of reasons. 1. Balance. Maybe it's just me but Warhammer 40k seems completely unbalanced with little to nothing in the way or fair play. I remember older editions where you pretty much won depending entirely on what codex you took and which units from that codex you took. I was told this isn't the case anymore but quickly found that it was still true. Some armies are still just better than others. It's not as bad as it used to be but I found myself missing the balance of infinity and you know, not having to roll 834 dice and move all my units over and over. Speaking of.. 2. The size. Setting up a 40k game is just no fun, there is too much shit to put down and it got tiring very quickly. Having to move a whole unit time after time felt very tedious. I longed for a skirmish game the entire time. Something with just a few models sounded so nice by the end of my first game with the Astra Militarum. 3. Sitting still. Infinity keeps you at least in some way active the entire game with reaction shots ect. Warhammer 40k does not. Depending on what is happening you may end up taking a very long time to take your turn and that can leave your opponent bored to tears. Several times during these games I got up, got a snack, went to the bathroom, came back and the other guy was still taking his sweet time. Now admittedly we were both using large model count armies but still that just seemed silly. 4. The cost dilemma. It feels weird to me to spend 20-30 bucks for ten models that are essentially worthless on the field. To make a decent Guardsman unit I need at least 20 -50 soldiers. That is close to 150 dollars not including shipping or tax. When I buy something in infinity I feel like I made a meaningful purchase for the table top. I feel like I am adding to my little band of brothers and sisters that will fight and die together. With 40k it feels like i'm just adding more bodies to a heap of meaningless deaths. It just doesn't feel as interesting. 5.WTF does that rule even mean? During one of the games we had a very long discussion about how exactly a certain rule worked. I've noticed every time I have played 40k or Warhammer fantasy ( Warhammer age of sigmar doesn't exist.) there is a lot of confusing wording, I like how clear the infinity books are. OR at least how clear they are to me. There are a couple of things I like about Warhammer 40k though, not the game mind you more or less the universe itself. I like the gigantic battles when they are in the books. I think there are a lot of interesting stories to be told about the various aspects of the universe , especially things like the inquisition and the Astra Militarum. I like the new allies rules that lets you mix and match armies to a certain extent, this is really nice for a collector like me. However at the same time I've met plenty of infinity players that don't seem to mind terribly or don't mind me just using a yu jing unit as a haqq unit because I like the model. Dark heresy and rouge trader are pretty great. I'd say Warhammer 40k all in all is a fun universe but kind of a shitty game. If you like it that's great but dear god I hated it. But now I have a bunch of guardsmen I intend to use as some sort of haqq or pan-o units so I can't say I wasted my money really. What has your personal experience with Warhammer / Warhammer 40k been? How do you feel about these games? Also, I'm not sure how I am going to fit these in.. https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/start-collecting-militarum-tempestus https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Militarum-Tempestus-Scions But I am going to find a way.

Alright so a few friends of mine were talking about doing a little roleplaying thing. I wrote up some details, it's not perfect mind you but I think it is serviceable for the time being. I can also make edits and repost it at a later date. I Invite you to check out what has been written so far and tell me what you think , there is room for more characters and of course if you would like to suggest a character I would love to hear it. Even if it is silly. We don't shy away from nonsense around here. After all I am pretty sure this qualifies as self insert fan fiction since the captain is named after me, or at least my online name on here. Now if only I had an army of tall Haqqislamite women, and a cute feminine guy then all would be right with the world. If you are wondering why Malachi is not presented in full detail that is because this character represents someone on the site and in all honesty I am not sure how to represent him here so I thought I would just give him the chance to place his own description if he wanted. And yes I am sure it could still use some work but after having like 5 different version I just decided to go with this one. The short version is as least technically the official story .. fan fiction... thing for now. I'll also post the really really really long version incase you want to see what got taken out and what was changed. The current version is more polished to say the least but that doesn't mean it is the best. Short version spell checked is the official. Ibn Batuta spell checked is the unedited version. So you can get an idea of the difference of size, the short version is 10,000 words, the other is 25,000. Feel free to send me a private message if you have any questions or ideas you didn';t just want to post here. short version spell checked.txt Ibn Batuta Spell checked.txt
  20. I just wanted to know what haqqislam players thought about djanbazan ? Someone I know is selling 3 of them for cheap as well as a khawarij miniature and I wasn't sure if they would be worth adding to my haqqislamite force.
  21. Please, before posting any bug or suggestion, read carefully: - Bring information. If you find difficult to explain with only words, a screenshot will make it. Post the list you were working on, faction, etc. Every data you can bring may be a clue. - "Before" counts. A lot of times is important to know what was that you were doing just before the bug appeared. i.e.: "I'd just removed this unit and then I got error trying to add this one". - Tell me the web browser you are using. - I will not answer you unless I need more information. I'll be noting down all your messages and I'll post changelogs. - Suggestions are welcome, but use common sense, please. Thanks everyone.
  22. I recently bought the haqqislam non-sectorial starter and was wondering where I should go from here. I've been debating buying one of these 4 units, the 4 man unit of the Kaplan Tactical Service or maybe the sekban naval unit or the jannissaires unit or the 4 man naffatun unit. Mostly because those are 4 of my personal favorite looking units in the game. The issue being i'm not sure how effective any of these combinations would be. For instance if I bought the Naffatun unit, do I really need 5 naffatun in an army list? What would be the best set or should I look in a completely different direction? I appreciate any help.
  23. aleph

Hi! Here's a gallery of my almost complete Aleph army! The core is made by the Assault Sub Section but the "vedic" part of the collection is very well represented to cover all the Aleph’s tactical options. You can find other pictures here: http://notjustmecha.blogspot.it/2016/02/my-aleph-army-for-infinity-game-is-on.html and here! http://www.coolminiornot.com/393617
  24. Greetings everyone. I am newbie if we talk about Infinity battlefield, but I've spent big amount of time getting through lore... aand here's the deal. I'm planning to start colecting an army, but I have huuuge problem with picking up my faction, I will try to state some of my general/non-general preferences an I hope some of you guys may direct my choice beacouse my heart is splitted too much^^ Personally I always side with so-called underdogs, I like guerilla tactics and as I am middle-european I really have a thing for Ariadna , but I am also big fan of movies such as "Appleseed" and "Ghost in the Shell", and i wish my army was a strong elite force (section 9 ) which make me also look at the PanO and SteelPhalanx. I rely strongly on the fluff, realy like the idea of humanity defeating death with those "cubes" (pity Ariadnian forces don't have em), and would like to be a representant of a prosperous and liberal society (like survival spirits of Ariadnian, and prosper of PanO, but I despise Ariadnians making Wulvers and Dogmen social pariahs and PanO/ALEPH being kinda mindslaves to "The Man" ). Good example would be Nomads tho I don't like part of their miniatures (weapons) . Moreover: 1. I'd like to have my soldiers in greate shape (acrobatics, Ph, dodging etc.) 2. Female minatures. I love the girls miniatures of the Infinity and I really wish to have a few. 3. CQC/Shooting/Sneaking equally matters to me 4. Special abilities are welcome. 5. I wish to enjoy playing with my army more than winning^^ 6. I prefer to have tactical advantage and superior troops than superior numbers (survivalibity here) 7. Some suprises for the enemy... I apologize for any kind of grammar errors, and if some of things I wrote sounds riddiculous, but I really could use some assistance. Thanks for reading through all of that already^^
  25. Hi all So I just started with Infinity a few weeks ago. My general procedure whenever I get into a new game is to start with more than one faction/side (just the starters) and see which I like best. Unfortunately in this case I wasn't able to find starters when I was looking for the two factions I liked the look of: PanO and Yu Jing. So I ended up buying a bunch of individual blisters instead. Now I'd like to build a JSA army. What I have so far is Saito Togan, Shinobu Kitsune, a merc, and 2 Keisotsu Butai. The merc is the new biker one, so I can proxy her as an Aragoto if I need to for my first few games Can anybody help me come up with a list that uses at least one of those characters and the other 3 units, and that I can build with a reasonably low monetary budget? I guess I'm looking to spend less than 100$ on what I need to finish a 300-pt army, if possible. And if there's some way I can work an O-Yoroi in there that would be awesome
