  1. Hello, it has been a long time since my last visit there and my old gallery has been archaized - I still invite You to watch it, but now, something new to my CJC squad
  2. "Bienvenida, Commandante! Kick those chickens off the crate and we'll get to work. If you pay attention I won't have to shoot you. Afterwards, there's a lamb on the spit. If those Ariadnans ask, it wandered into the camp. And so did the beer. And the cake. I like cake. "You're probably thinking Corregidor is the poorest ship with the crappiest tech in the Human Sphere outside of Ariadna. Well, you're not too far wrong with that. Our power armour is outdated, our TAGs are museum pieces and we don' got no fancy TO or HD plus. And definitely no furries. Although that would be kinda nice. But, like the Haqqsters, we know how to pick 'n' choose the right tools for the job. And we've got great big cojones. 'Cos that's how Corregidor wins!" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seeing as Bakunin and Vanilla Nomads both have Tactica threads, I thought I'd start one for Corregidor. Especially seeing as we're getting new units and new sculpts over the next year or so. Of all the factions and sectorials, Corregidor is the one that's focused on getting the job done and getting paid. If you want, you can fill up an entire Combat Group with Engineers. Plus a little extra. Or have your entire army arrive with Aerial Deployment. But there's much more to Corregidor than Wildcat spam. The increased AVA of certain units and link options do allow for some extremely flexible tactics. I'd like it if people contributed their ideas, tactics and experiences with these units, for which I'll happily credit them with. NOTE: READ THE RULES. Even if a tactica appears to contradict what the rules say, ALWAYS FOLLOW THE RULES. The tactica are a guide, not a rules cheatsheet. Sectorial Overview: Strengths: - The definitive AD sectorial - Strong, dependable and flexible units - Wildcats!! - Intruders: the epitome of terror - Good mix of long and short range weapons - The Brigada Link (aka Pain Train)!! Now with 4-4 MOV and a discount! - Quirky toys (loads of ADHL) - The Zero-G combat masters - 5 TAGs!!! And we can afford them, too! Suck on that PanO! - Few cubes make EI sad More Cubes now for Doctors to reroll - Excellent Lieutenant choices - Warbands: Sr. Massacre leads the way! - Access to the excellent Clockmaker Weaknesses: - Few fancy tricks - no ODD, TO, Marksmanship etc - Slow - Lack of smoke - Only AVA 2 Moran are Infiltrators - No Hacking Device Plus - No minelayers Favourite Victims: - Camo armies - ? suggestions please Worst Enemies - Horde armies - The Avatar At a Glance: - MSVL2: Intruders - Camo: Intruders, Bandits - Flamethrowers: Tomcats, Wildcats, Intruders, Mobile Brigada, Lunokhod, Iguana - E/M: Tomcats (E/Mitters), Senhor Massacre (E/M CCW and grenades), Wildcats (BS w/ Flash Grenades) - Grenades: Alguaciles (LGL) Intruders, McMurrough - Smoke: Jaguars, Lupe Balboa, McMurrough, Senhor Massacre (Zero V) - ADHL: Hellcats, Intruders, Carlota Kowalsky - Repeaters: Alguaciles, Morans, all REMs save G:Servant and Vertigo Zond, Iguana (!) - Pitchers: Valerya Gromoz, Tsyklons - Zero G capability: Tomcats, Hellcats, Wildcats, Intruders, Geckos, Transductor Zond
  3. Hi everybody, After having an Infinity break for several years I came back and started a new faction: The jurisdictional command of Corregidor. It was the lovely sculpts of the Geckos and the Intruders that brought me here. But I wanted a darker colour scheme than the usual bright (and a bit nerdy) Nomads. I thought in a dystopian future, where interplanetary companies would own nearly everything of society, even police work would be outsourced. So a criminal case would be handled by contractors. So I thought about small police faction run by a company sourced out of Corregidor. I always loved the future vision of Ghost in the Shells Hong Kong and recently I enjoyed Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Both are my main inspirations for building these guys and a gaming board later on. So here are my first finished miniatures: And a small conversation from an old Ahl Fassed to a Nomad HI with HMG as a pilot for my Iguana: Thanks for reading.
  4. Hi there, I started painting my Nomads about a year ago and changed the colorsheme halfway. Therefore not too many miniatures are finished yet, but I keep on painting to reach a nice large group of Corregidor Nomads someday. The colorsheme I use is influenced by Deus Ex and I really like it hopefully, you do as well. Sorry for my bad English. I’m from Germany so English isn’t my mother tongue. I hope I can answer your comments fair enough though. Here's a picture of my group so far. Well the Gecko is not really finished yet and the picture itself a bit too dark, but I think you get a viable impression of my nomads. This two were finished this weak, so I've made single pics for them. First is a Intruder with HMG: Second is a Marine Engineering Officer I'll use as HVT.
  5. I while ago – in April – I started the HEADForce, the Human Edge Armed Defense Force for the Nomads. One of the reasons was the new starter box for Bakunin as well as the Moderator box, but I also wanted to develop a new color scheme. Inspired by many artworks I found on the net, I for one wanted a more "realistic" theme but without forgoing high visibility on the game table. I took some experiments, but eventually I was satisfied. First troop I painted was this one: Please excuse me for the gap in side of the base, I will fix this in the future This is the my color scheme for the Moderators – please excuse me again that the base is not finished. Our Infinity Group here in Hannover started a new escalation league, and I participate with my new Nomads. So I have to finish some other minis for the games, the bases will follow soon. I was strongly inspired by the series The Expanse, so I tried some tattoos in the Expanse style
  6. 7. Hi all! It's been a while since I've posted anything here nut since I finally have 4 differently looking Gecos I've decided to experiment with them and check what is possible and what isn't. 10. H-Logs stands for „Hydra Logistics“, a company that has its origins in the Nomad Nation and is specialised in providing transport and/or logisical solutions for every kind of cargo. The good relations to the Nomads provide the company with a prominent location in VaudeVille and access to almost every sort of military support. That is highly neccessary, since the cargos are very often targets to all sorts of attacks. Looking for a professional transport solution? -Go H-Logs! Brookers have to be the best in several different aspects. They represent their company on offical occasions and in an economical and financial way, so they have to know their way around market-strategies, numbers and calculations and everything else a real buisnessman has to provide to run a buisness. On the other hand they have to be highly trained warriors, knowing their way around combat tactics, infiltration and every other aspect of warfare they need to deliver their cargo, no matter where it goes. Well, enough of the fluff part. When I started with Infinity I was rather short on funds. Since I wanted to play the game nontheless, I took what was available and fitted. Maybe you recognise them. By now, I am proud owner of some original Infinity Models... tendency growing. Here, I shall keep you up to date on my progress. I am pretty proud of the light reflex on the helmet... Here some "house staff" of H-Logs. I play them as Alguaciles The securtiae lady Mobile Brigada Agualciles Hacker So, that's it for now. Next up a Zero
  11. I recently tried using a Bandit for the first time. I played 4 games with two lists I had prepared and found myself at a bit of a loss in how to use him. In the first game (no mission, just a warm-up) I used a Combi Rifle Bandit (no idea why, I think I hit the wrong button on the Army Builder because I *meant* to use a Boarding Shotgun). I deployed the Bandit last, in the midfield, intending to threaten the units nearest that point. As it turned out, they never approached and he never felt like the right tool to deal with them. In the second game (20x20 mission: Intercept Enemy Communications) I took a Killer Hacking Device. I again deployed the Bandit last and put him down near a Clipsos. Going first, I had a Transductor Zond place a Sniffer, used a Stempler Zond's Sensor to reveal the Clipsos and nearby mine (the obvious Igao was outside the Sniffer's range), then used the Bandit to get into CC with the Clipsos, easily killing it, then I re-camoed. On my opponent's turn, one of his Triads killed the Hellcat I had dropped there and moved in on the Bandit. I attempted an Engage, but failed the roll and got shot. Forgot to use Scavenger, though it would not likely have been relevant. In the third (20x20 mission: Investigate Alien Artefact) I used the Combi Rifle list again. I again deployed the Bandit last and positioned it near the objective. By the end of my first turn, I had the Bandit and an Intruder at the objective, but kept fluffing their WIP checks each round. My opponent was scared by the two Camo troopers and avoided them until the third round when his Shaolin Monks finally reached them. He lost three of four on the approach, but the final one killed the Bandit in CC, then a Hac Tao killed the Intruder. In the fourth (no mission, just practice) I again used the Combi Rifle list. I again deployed last, this time covering a dead angle that could have threatened my Wildcat Fireteam:Core. Early on, my opponent had two Clipsos and several mines in that part of the table, so I had the Bandit, a Jaguar and the Wildcats dug-in defensively --- I thought he was preparing to attack from that angle. As it happened, all the action happened on the other side of the table, where my Hellcat and Intruder used the help of a second Jaguar to score numerous KOs (which he doctored back up on his turns). Other than that one Clipsos kill, I never saw a situation where I could have used the Bandit actively. Every problematic situation, it felt like something else was the better tool. I thought I may get some use out of his mines, but it never felt like it was worth spending an Order to place a mine, then a second Order to re-enter camo. Leaving him in a tricky spot as a speed-bump or deterrant seemed to work in the short-term, but I imagine he will become less effective as my opponents become more used to seeing me field this. What sorts of things should I be looking for when deploying a Bandit, and in which situations would you recommend using it aggressively?
  12. Hi there, my names Carlos and I’m from Germany. I started Infinity about 2 years ago and though I don’t play as often as I would like, I’m still a big fan of this game. I like the setting, the miniatures and well of course the great wargaming boards many of you have built. Playing a game of Infinity with painted miniatures on a board with beautiful terrain is simply great. Therefore I’d like to have a unique looking, detailed board myself one day. I bought lots of terrain second-hand, so I already have the possibility to assemble a good Infinity board. But well it’s neither detailed, nor unique. But I’m not only disappointed from the look, it although feels somewhat flat. Of course there are buildings where snipers can get on top, but well, the buildings often just have one way to get to the roof. Therefore a miniature which is in a position like that often won’t move for the rest of the game. I wanted something more overlapping. If you have watched movies like the new Total Recall from 2012 you may know what I mean. Ok, I want platforms, connected with bridges and big enough to provide space for MDF buildings (MAS, Zen Terrain, etc.) or other terrain pieces. As for the style, I imagine a dirty, futuristic trading outpost named “Teferox Bay” for my Corregidor nomads. I’m clearly influenced by Deus Ex Human Revolution, Battle Angel Alita New Order, Overwatch and the already mentioned new Total Recall film. The groundlevel of my board is the warehouse mat from MicroArts (very original, yeah… ^^). But well, I like this mat. Not only does it fit to my imagination of Teferox Bay, it although gave me a nice idea for the surface of the platforms. I bought a second mat and started to cut certain areas to get a two layered battlefield. English isn’t my mother tongue and pictures say more than words anyway, so here a sketch of my planed wargaming board. I already started repainting some of my second-hand terrain and the first platform is also done. I like it, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. The second platform will be much more detailed. But more of it later. This picture demonstrates quite well what the board will look like in the end. A grey city with yellow details. I’d like to add some LEDs to the terrain, but I’ve no clue about technical stuff at all. Maybe a friend of mine can help me a bit with this. As for the second platform I’m constructing right now, I’m trying to add more depth into it by adding more foamboard details, and adding slots for MDF buildings. I think by doing this, the whole terrain gets a more interesting look and also more places to take cover. Obviously it will take a lot more time to finish the whole project, but that’s fine. I already have enough terrain for the board, so everything that’s coming from now on, is just to embellish the scenery. And last but not least a little scenic shot I made. Can’t wait to have the whole board ready. I hope you like it. Oh and though I've a certain image on my mind what my board should look like, feel free to write me your ideas an opinions. As I'm trying to build a somewhat organic grown city, so differences between the platforms are really desired. Let's see what Teferox Bay will look like in the future. I have just so many ideas... ^^
  13. Hey everyone! I'm a long time table top player dating back to WH40K 4th Ed and WM&H Mk1 and now I with those behind me I wish to jump into Infinity. I originally started this game with Aleph. I bought a few models, but never got to play a game; however, I did learn some of the unique things of this game. One, the game is not about min-maxing, but about the mission requirements. Two, all armies are competitive and can do ruffly the same thing with some doing other things better. Three, its all about you and luck not, not so much your list, but it helps to have a optimized list. So, with all these lessons learned, I ditched Aleph and joined the rebel establishment because I love the sexy models, hacking, and all the tricks it brings to the battle field. And, while being away from the states and having a wad of cash to blow I purchased Operation Icestorm, Rule Book, and 300 dollars worth of models. lol I have a 400pt Bakunin and Corregidor list; however, I lack the classic Nomads list. I understand what both sects bring to the table, but I have not be able to wrap my mind around classic Nomads. Maybe I am putting myself in a box, but I do not want it to be unique from the sects in that they do not have access to X tactics or Y models. I don't know if that makes sense, but it is where I am at. Currently, I have moved onto Haqqislam for the time being.
  14. I was thinking of putting together a list to have fun with Zero G for Wotan. I figured the Wildcats were the center, and then the Geckos are natural for it. A Tomcat for healing, an Intruder and a Zond to finish off the points. The Zond being the only thing that isn't either Zero-G or Multiterrain, so that's not bad for theme. I am still not very experienced at this game, so I figure it can't hurt to ask what I'm not thinking of in terms of the list. Suggestions? 19. Hi, me and my friend are gonna be playing a 300pt kill list once we get our models painted up. He will likely be playing Yu Jing (maybe JSA) or less likely Haq. We are still learning the rules so not ITS yet. What would you suggest for a 300pt kill list? My first list had geckos in it and I made the mistake of mentioning it to him so now he says he is going to build his list to kill my geckos. I'm thinking now it might not be a good idea to bring them.
  20. Working on a Corregidor list that features two geckos. Might not be practical but i think they are cool so hat's what i'm doing. Not totally sure what I should take to support them. Figured 1 or 2 intruders for possible camo, link of algs (hate that the lieutenant costs 1swc), here is what I've come up with so far. I'm still very new to the game so me and my friend will likely be doing a kill list but possibly an objective game. Jurisdictional Command of Corregidor ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 110 GECKO 2 Combi Rifles, Chain-colt, Panzerfaust / . (0 | 53) GECKO PILOT 2 Assault Pistols, Knife. (0) GECKO Mk12, Chain-colt, Blitzen / . (0.5 | 54) GECKO PILOT 2 Assault Pistols, Knife. (0) INTRUDER HMG, Grenades / Pistol, CCW. 21. Hi guys, for every new corregidor list I am working on, I have hard time to decide which one to play. I really like idea of deadpool, he is amazing in CC, he has a regular gun, can benefits form cover, eclipse grenades which can help against MSV2 snipers, regeneration and most of them I like idea of harris with 2 jaguars (3 orders to order pool for 60tish pts) with ADHL and panzerfaust (B2 for both of them is so nasty). I give them a shot couple of times, but always jaguars were the guys who did something, and they did very well, but Senor didn't in any single game. usually to run him into CC in first turn across whole table is so many orders consuming (and with average 6-7 (2 down from opponent, at least one for irregular or AD, and at least 1 for coordinated suppression for other folks), then this is not enough to really do some fun in opponents DZ. and then he die so easily in reactive turn Compare to McMurrough which a like too, maybe I would prefer to find a way how to be more successful with Senore, but anyhow I like Mc a lot too, maybe just a little bit less ... with his much faster movement and superjump and with his impetuous ordered he is less order intensive to get him to enemy DZ, but he is bigger (so it's more complicated to get him there unseen). He is really good to CC a TAG or some other big expensive units, but i am still little bit struggling how to best murder link teams with him... also like 2wounds, so you can more risk on first one, and also high PH for easy medkiting. Of course compare to Senore and especially haris team, he didn't provide any order to order pool, so to have him in list full of other beefy guys (30pts+ e.g brigadas, geckos, intruders, ...) really reduce possible orders peak. easily say I have just a few orders and I spend all of them on him - not good for not kilikili missions I will probably keep doing this exchange between these two, but I am really curious about your opinion guys and what's are your preferences and decision makers. thank you!
  22. So I'm a very long time Nomad and Bakunin player, but only a couple (7ish) of games as a new Corregidor player under my belt. Really noticed the differences between sectorials right off the bat, especially with the lack of zeros. Although taking bandits within a sectorial is amazing too. (Bandits is love. Bandits is life.) The last three games i played though was with this list on frontline, armoury and quadrant control. Won all three by outstanding margins. (Worst victory was a 7 to 4 on frontline.) Now the problem is, is that i designed this list for a laugh. I didn't really design it to be competitive although I'm pulling some good results with it. So I'm just asking the more experienced Corregidor players if this is something they would take to a tournament for a board control type mission?...... Thoughts? Did someone say.... Intruders? ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 110 SEÑOR MASSACRE (Fireteam: Haris) Breaker Combi Rifle, E/M Grenades, Eclipse Grenades / Pistol, AP CCW, E/M CCW. 24. This is a list that I'm considering building up to in Corregidor for our next escalation league. The league will culminate in a Limited Insertion Tournament. Is this something worth trying? I normally play Steel Phalanx so building and playing with a Core Fireteam seemed cool. 25. Hello! So I decided to start playing Infinity and went for the Nomads! I bought the Icestorm box recently although soon after I saw one list on the internet that combines models that I like the look of. Here's what it looks like: Jurisdictional Command of Corregidor ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 10 GECKO 2 Combi Rifles, Chain-colt, Panzerfaust / . (0 | 53) GECKO PILOT Assault Pistol, Knife. (0) GECKO Mk12, Chain-colt, Blitzen / . (0.5 | 54) GECKO PILOT Assault Pistol, Knife. (0) ALGUACIL Hacker (Hacking Device) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 18) HELLCAT Boarding Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 21) WILDCAT Spitfire / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 24) WILDCAT Lieutenant Combi Rifle + Light Flamethrower, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 19) WILDCAT (Number 2) Combi Rifle + Light Flamethrower, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 20) WILDCAT Combi Rifle + Light Flamethrower, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 19) LUNOKHOD Heavy Shotgun, Heavy Flamethrower, D-Charges, CrazyKoalas (2) / Electric Pulse. (0 | 25) INTRUDER HMG, Grenades / Pistol, CCW. (1.5 | 42) 4 SWC | 295 Points Open in Infinity Army Note - I have no idea how does the game play at all, let alone know what to do, but I've read the tactica thread and other forums, so I get the gist of how the units work on the table. Other units I like is the Mobile Brigada and I wouldn't mind buying the box, but I think I read somewhere that they're fairly meh. I'm really hyped by the Gecko models, especially Mk 12, so I included both versions in the list to make the most out of purchase. I'm also considering an Iguana in their place, but I like it's looks less than Geckos'. I wouldn't mind playing non-sectorial list either, but Corregidor looks like a bubble of safe space where I like almost all of the models and no furries can be allowed, haha! Unfortunately the list contains koalas, of which very idea I loathe (metal teddy bears don't really cut it for me, but I guess I'll have to bear with them if I want to use Lunokhod), just like the zondcat, but oh well. Would it be too much for me to ask for some advice on the list? Both playing and/or modifications to it.
