  1. If anyone has not seen the latest update from the Infinity RPG Kickstarter you might have missed the very shiny new faction D20′s that Q-Workshop are producing for the game. Very pretty dice if a little on the pricey side for £2 each but Q-Workshop make bespoke dice of very high quality. I wonder will these be available as general release from the Infinity store someday?
  2. Hi all, I stumbled across this video on youtube: How to check the balance of your D20 As summary - you make a strong salt solution so that a d20 swims up. Just usual kitchen salt dissolved in tap water in a glas. Once the dice swims give it a small nudge. if the same side or even exact number comes up the dice has bad balanced. I checked 20 of my d20s. 4 didnt swim up regardless of how many salt I used. 8 were fine, 8 were badly balanced. What does this mean? The bad dice do not give results like loaded dice. But they are biased in some statistical way. I havent made test rolls to see the statistical influence (and I doubt I will do so, rolling and documenting 1000 rolls seems teduous) so maybe this means nothing or it should become a standard test at tournaments As a sad side note: the 6 operation icestorm dice were part of the bad batch.

  4. We are happy to present our new products for this month. As always you can purchase them right now in our shop: www.customeeple.com In addition to the holoechoes products we had available we also added H Yasbir the new Dire foe released this month. Two new special templates. The first one for smoke effects in smoked grey and the second one a Blast template. This last one comes with an add-on to check all the explosion radius, even his height. Also this month we also present a MDF structure. Our new Dice Tower for Infinity is designed to be not also an useful accessory but part of the game scenery and become one new game element. The tower includes 2 small consoles that you can add to it, or assemble them as a independent scenery piece to be used in missions. Finally you can see our new suppressing fire marker, which fits perfectly with the game bases to represent accurately this game effect. And with all the products associated to a specific faction that we presented last week. We released MEGAPACKS which include a set of 21 orders + 22 status markers + a pack with all the 5 camouflage silhouettes. All of the available for all the factions of the game. You can save some money buying all them together. Here you can see a selection of photo shoots of our new products. We hope you will enjoy them
  5. Hi all, I've been researching this game for the last few days and I really like what I have seen. Picking up a starter box set is a forgone conclusion at this point Just had a quick question for the community. The rules manual and wiki both say a d20 is required (but preferably more). How many though? From a brief pass at the rules, it looks like it's four (Burst 4 Weapons). Is there any benefit to having different colored dice; say to represent different weapons being shot at the same time in ARO for example? Curisouly, the official dice set comes with 6 different colored dice. In practice, say for 300pt games, how many dice are people using and is there any benefit to using more than one color? Thanks for your help.
