  1. We've been investigating the possibility of doing the next dropship in injection plastic but unfortunately the numbers simply do not add -up. As such this will be going ahead in resin, and we're just signing the contract with the same 3D developer who did the Azure Dragon, to work on the ROC. Its going to take around 3 months form now, as we go through the various stages we'll be keeping track of developments and giving out as much information as we can, please bear in mind that quite a few changes are possible during design so that nothing is "final" until we go to print. We will therefore be looking at going to Kickstarter to launch the ROC project around April this year. Price is undetermined at this stage - without knowing final sizes and parts numbers is would be a fairly WAG, but it is likely to be around that of the Azure Dragon.
  2. This months sees a whole slew of new release on our website. The Arabesque bases are new city pavement and roadside bases with a distinct Middle Eastern theme. Perfect for a Haqqislam army, or even Druze and Kaplan mercenaries. The bases are highly detailed resin, and come in the sizes of 25mm, 40mm, 55mm, and 70mm. All base sizes except 70mm are compatible with our compass bar system for denoting line of fire. We are also releasing 4 new laser cut and MDF products this month, the Avalon Tri-Ads ‘Small’, Avalon Tri-Ads ‘Large’, Metro Terminus and Stop Signs, and the Deus Roller Mk. II. These are new streetside products to help bring your urban table to life, and block different lines of sight on an Infinity board. These products feature, pre-painted MDF, reverse-etched acrylic, highly detailed resin and photo quality image prints. The Deus Roller Mk II is a new improved version of the Deus Roller that was released as part of the Game Box kickstarter. This version has been improved both functionally and aesthetically, functioning both as a scenery piece and as gaming aid. By removing the top of this scenery element, and dice roller is revealed, allowing you to roll dice down the inside of the Deus Roller. Instructions for these products are now on our blog , here. Happy Gaming!
  3. Hi, when I started to play infinity on July last year, I missed to have such a date base of lists set up by more experienced players. I understand then that the main reason is that factions can be played in different ways and it is not “an only way” to play an army. Therefore a list played successfully by me is not necessary the best option for other player. For example, the way I play djanbazan core link is not necessary suitable for other player and a janissaire link is not efficiency in my style of play. However I still miss a list database where I can find ideas or new ways to play haqqislam and/or discover good profiles and how to use them. From the beginning I played QK and I want to move to vanilla, and, to be honest, it is being difficult to me to set up a consistent list to be comfortable to play with. So my proposal is to post lists that you are happy to play with, so they can be an inspiration for others. In order to organize this, please use the following form to share your lists: Sectorial (QK, HB or Vanilla): Mission (if you use the list for any mission or missions): Opposite army (if you design the list for a specific enemy): How I use it (explain briefly the tricks or ways to play your list): My contribution: Sectorial: Qapu Kalqhi Mission: those pushing bottons, supplies, antennas field, etc. Opposite army: no one specific, played in a tournament. It supposes to be suitable for all opponents. How I use it: Djanbazan and sekban links should be played defensive at the beginning. Both HRL and sniper will be your main tool in ora. Dajanbazan hmg (plan A, played as solo unit) and hafza spitfire (plan B, wait until last turn as it is your lieutenant) are your key units in active. Al hawwas give you some board control and are the troops who are going to push the buttons for you. I use 2 Yuan Yuan as smoke platform for your djanbazans and, in the case maybe, for cover the Al hawwas to accomplish objectives. The other Yuan Yuan can be thrown to the face of your enemy (not literally), just for fun. List 1 ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 110 DJANBAZAN Sniper Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 31) DJANBAZAN HMG / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 35) DJANBAZAN Rifle + Light Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 27) HAFZA Rifle + Light Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 8) 6 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army Sectorial: Qapu Kalqhi Mission: originally it was though for playing highly classification, but I think it is good list for playing other missions also. Opposite army: no one specific. However it is a toolbox for playing against heavy camo lists or even against ip and tags lists. How I use it: I have to admit that it is not the kind of list I use to play. But the tons of regular order (15) help a lot to kill enemies and accomplish objectives, and I have include some interesting profiles in there. Make a core link of guhlam, the hafza hrl and Leila Sharif to play it defensive together with the dajanbazan sniper. I prefer to have the hacker outside the link in order to active it without active the whole link. If you need it, you always can spend one token to include him in the link. Djanbazan hmg and Leila Sharif (have in mind the cibermask) are your assets in active. Shihab is for reactive and active turn, so take care and do not expose it to much in reactive turn. Rafiq is your toolbox for whatever you need. Together with the fanous, you can use it in the first turn to reveal infiltrator and camo enemies and take them down with dajanbazans or sihab. I play the yuans defensive in this list, for smoke combo or cover the advance of your units. Alwwa gives you board control and it is a great tool to accomplish objectives, hack, etc. List 2 ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 110 LEILA SHARIF Hacker (Killer Hacking Device) Shock Marksman Rifle, D-Charges / Breaker Pistol, Knife. 4. The new Imperial Service stuff is glorious. The models are beautiful, and they are insanely well sculpted, which makes me really want to push what I've been able to do with paint. As I just finished up my first of the new models, I figured I'd share. C&C welcome. I will continue to add finished models to this post as I get to them. 5. Hello everyone. I'm pretty new to the game, so I'm building up my first army...and here are the results so far: Khawarij (probably will use as Lasiq) Hawwa Khawarij & Hawwa Nasmat WIP I'd love to hear comments! Next I'm ordering an Asawira and pair of Ragiks, and will be converting the non-HMG one into a Fiday.
  6. Long time away, and it turns out my old Haqq painting log is archived and Psychotic Storm can't seem to revive it. No matter! EDIT: Now the first painting log is up and running here:, so my little toys are spread over the two topics :-/ Oh well, I'll keep posting here. Posting pics is great motivation to paint more often, as I don't get many games in. If you have ideas to improve the painting or photography I'm keen to hear your thoughts! Here's my latest mini, with a Muyib on the way. Played with a makeshift lightbox, trying to improve the photography. Hope you like! C&C always welcome, I've got one more of these and 2 Kameel remotes to do at some point, so I appreciate suggestions
  7. Im just opening this as a speculation thread for what may possible be in a future HB starter box update. so what are your guys thoughts? Daylami would probably be in for sure, but what else? Ayyar sculpt perhaps, fiday resculpt, what happens to the missing muyib or lasiq?
  8. Hey all - my local gaming group on-campus started the planning for an Infinity campaign early December, and it started about a week ago. That (fortunately) gave me plenty of time to pick up the slack and finish painting and assembling my campaign force. As it stands, the core conflict of the campaign is between Haqqislam and Ariadna over corporate interests in the Tessum trade with Nomad mercenaries and PanOceania intelligence agents involved as well. Each player has a core list with very few restrictions, so my list is predominantly QK-driven with a few vanilla Haqqislam models thrown in for flexibility (AVA limits and sectorial limitations only apply game-to-game). These are just a few of the projects I finished over the gap between the first idea and the official start. Djanbazan for seeing through that pesky Caledonian smoke. These guys so far have proven to be the bane of everyone's existence, since Regeneration gives them a lower likelihood of dying in-campaign. USAriadna Grunts to stand-in as Halqa mechanized troops. Wish I had some Haqqislamite rifles hanging around to convert them. Zoom-in on a Halqa and his trusty modified Tinbot (he's a Nasmat now). Since I had plenty of points to spare, I took a good deal of Ghulams alongside Lelia to serve as a Swiss army knife link team I can utilize from game to game. Casualty rates are high (spoiler: T2 ammo hurts). Another shot with all the Ghulams. I was overjoyed when the new Tuareg arrived before the official start of the campaign. He isn't super useful against Ariadna, but our PanO player has a habit of bringing a Cutter. I'll probably see if I can't convert the sniper to either a doctor by modifying the rifle, because right now she's a sub-par sniper. Zhayedan and company. The Khawarij is to flank and take out PanO cheerleaders for the TAG, and the Al Fasid is a dedicated Wulver-killer. The HVT from Defiant Truth serves as a fluff piece - she's the corporate contact for my Haqqislam force, but I really just wanted an excuse to paint her up.
  9. Suryat link with Kornak goes toe-to-toe with a Muyib link on supplies. The battle is a conflict of styles and composition. The tough-to-crack Suryats and a Q drone attempt to lock down the board. The Muyibs have smoke on their side, and refuse to fight an upfront battle. The Hassassins try and steal supplies right under the nose of the defense. The battle is as close as it gets and goes down to the last turn, last order, last dice roll to decide the winner This is my third battle report and I have been trying to improve the format. hope you guys check it out and enjoy. 10. Hello everyone. I want to show some of my painted models, what I'm especially proud of. You an also check out my blog: It's russian, so not everyone able to read it, but there are many decent photos to look at.
  11. Sorry if this isn't the right place to put this topic, I wasn't honestly sure where it should go so I just placed it here. So lately I've been clearing out my old miniatures in an attempt to get a little extra cash. My friend and I like playing infinity and I was thinking of just keeping a couple of small armies for us both to play . I was wondering whether yall thought red veil or icestorm were better for a general introduction to the game? Or if it might just be better to ask my friend what army he wants to play and grab a couple of the small army boxes instead?
  12. I as recently playing mgs v and language is a big theme in the game. You need translators so you can interrogate enemy soldiers from around the world. This got me thinking about how motherbase would actually work and whether or not they would have their own common language that soldiers would be expected to speak or understand to enable communication. What I started to wonder after that was whether or not empires like panoceania and yu jing would have their own common language so that people from different parts of the sphere could communicate in a military setting. Is there any information on what the lingua franca for something like pan o would be? I would assume English but that may be wrong. If not how do armies with a huge variety of languages actually communicate?
  13. Hey all, I have started a written battle report page for my local area. I am still fairly new to the game, less than a year, and very new to battle reports. hope you guys enjoy *I also have a Corregidor vs Tohaa up and a very tense Morat Aggresion vs Hassassin Bahram comin in soon
  14. I was thinking about doing an all myridom or all thorakitai list but I wasn't sure how well that would work out. So I just thought I would ask and see what you all thought of it. I was going to be using things like kts, druze , djanbazan and other miniatures from various armies I like as proxies since I like aleph's rules but I am not a big fan of their miniatures.
  15. Hi all My main opponent plays Haqqislam, I have beaten him on several games, but personally I often find it was more luck and I often feel on the back foot against him. So I was hoping you guys could give me some advice on 3 problem units he likes to field (I apologise for the spelling): Ragiks (drop trooper guy) Fiday (how the hell do you deal with impersonation? ) the 'crazy bitches', well that is what we call them (the irregular girls with smoke grenades and those isolator gadgets)
  16. Hi guys I have recently been struggling against a Haqqislam player, we are playing this evening a 20x20 mission, upload evidence and espionage as secondary objective. I created the following list, read it through then I will give a reasoning behind the various choices. Disclaimer, I mostly have the Red Veil set, Tokusetsu support pack, a guilang and a Su Jian. But our group is rather relaxed about proxies. I would like to play the Su Jian, since I haven't yet, and the scenario seems to be made for him, but I am not sure how well he will fair against all his smoke and isolator shenanigans. My army choices are also greatly influenced by another thread I made here: Shout out to all the great forum gurus for their advice there! So Oniwaban's purpose is to go and sow some chaos. I think he should be able to kill most if not all of them (depending on placement) Guilang: The idea is to infiltrate him close to the one objective and to pop mines out galore. Effectively locking down the one objective. Question: If my guilang lies on a roof, can he lay down mines on the street below him and vice versa? Hsien: the doctor will stay close to him while he covers the other objective. Also to murder his damn Mutts (I think their name is, the irregular, smoke throwing, isolating, impetuous girls) He has often times been my Lt, so I expect his fiday (which he usaully has) to come right for him, hence the bao trooper. Bao: Idea is to go wherever the fiday is, after that he will probably go for objectives while the Hsien covers him Zanshis: Back field protectors and order generators. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
  17. I've been playing Infinity off and on for a couple of years now, and figure it's time to finally give these guys (and gals) some color! I decided to go with a standard green and tan color scheme because I haven't done much with greens so far. Rather than attempting NMM, I went with a ceramic/composite look for their weapons and most items that would usually be metallic. So far I'm pretty happy with the result and feel like it adds some visual interest to what would usually be just another silver spot. I'll probably come back and spruce up the bases later. Right now my priority is on getting them painted and back on the table. I picked up the Kum troopers for a painting contest at my local game store - I ordered it with about a month to spare, but a series of shipping issues and a missing part only left me with about 8 hours to paint it. I have to say, this model was a joy to paint! Lots of little details and some real personality on his face.
  18. Battle report here: Some teasers: Comments and discussion encouraged! Enjoy!
  19. I was thinking of painting my haqqislam, mercs, and ariadna miniatures with some diamond dogs uniforms or MSF uniforms. I wanted to paint the patches on the shoulders and all that but I wasn't sure what the best method to paint small details was. I was just wondering if anybody had any good painting techniques for painting small details like that?
  20. I'm toying with this list for ITS and would appreciate some thoughts on it. The idea for this list was to have specialists pretty much everywhere, while still having a reasonable hitting power. On the down side, I am worried that it will be extremely vulnerable to losing that hitting power with a well-executed air-drop or flanking maneuver. I am a fairly new player, so I was also trying to keep the number of extra rules to a manageable level. We will be playing the Frontline, Highly Classified, and Supplies scenarios. The goal would be to use Al-Djabel and the Kums to throw draw their attention and/or throw them off balance while the rest of the army focuses on objectives. Saladin helps keep opponents from countering them both via deployment. The forward observers provide both specialists and hitting power via the guided missile launcher as long as the remote stays in play. The Djanbazan provides MSV2 sniper support, and the Janissary is there to make life difficult as needed. Any suggestions for tactics/strategies or changes to this list are more than welcome! 21. Initial thoughts: Hi, i'm currently starting Qapu Khalki and learning all about fireteams after purchasing my Red Veil and QK starter <3. I am currently torn between 2 ideas: The first is to have two combatgroups with about 7 orders each, one sporting a defensive core djanbazan link, who will likely use less orders, so they are paired with 2 yuans and our trusty doc and nasmat, and the other with an offensive Odalisque team, which will get order monkey Alguaciles, as inspired by Kristoff (Interplanetario Winner 15'). Odalisque Link will be running around with the Nasmat using the Djanb. Orderpool so they have a fast doc available, remember that you can heal them in NWI state on a 17 The thing is, i found myself in a given turn either going offensively for objectives / dominating zones OR setting my Djanbazans defensively, as they are much to order expensive to be moving up with their 4/2 MOV, which often frustrated me when trying to use the HMG version (also that unit once stood up 3 times with Regeneration, busting people with his HMG!) So here is my newest experiment, comments and critique is needed : QK: 6,2/9 ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 16 2 2 HAWWA' Hacker (Assault Hacking Device) Boarding Shotgun, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) 6 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army Some thoughts about my list: So the idea is to be having the Djanbazan with two hafzas as an ARO Piece, doc ghulam beneath him. Instead of the expensive HMG one, we will use one Hafza with a Rocket Launcher, B3 as a link leader is devastating against other link teams and a good replacement for our HMG one. Against heavy camo/smoke factions our Sniper Djan will be having a lot of work to do though. I think he can manage. I will miss HMG Djanbazan, but i think they are too expensive for what they offer. Most orders will be used by the Odalisques team, which, if anyone should die, can be stocked up again with the djanbazan team hafzas, that's why they're now in one Combat Group. My odalisques tend to die often and early, so it's nice that you can easily glue your hafzas from both teams together so that we have a backup 5 man link team with 7 or 8 orders - hafzas pack a punch, have 2 armor and a FOB and Heavy Rocket Launcher at our hands The first order group will a) either use the orders for the two hawwas and grab objectives, or for the nasmat to run after the haris link, or c) in the first turn to smoke up an angle or tunnel with the Yuans for either the djanbazan sniper link to push into thanks to his MSV2, or to get the Odalisques in the middle, who can then break the link team and go into 360 degrees supression fire if needed <3. Unsure in which combat group to put 1 and in which to put 2 yuans, as both could actually use all of their orders. I think in the first turn, in which the yuans will eat up most orders, the first group is more important, as the hawwas still have more free space, but group 2 already is at it's limit. Also, i have no experience with Sekban or Druze - how effective would a third linkteam duo be? i could see the Shihab Remote, one Hafza and a Yuan or Alguacil removed for a duo link, but I seriously doubt the effectiveness of three fire teams (unless it's tohaa triads) - i'm already order starved in group 1. Another idea is to scrap the Alguacil Ltnt and have the Hafza who will just stand around with the Djan be Ltnt. Unsure which option is safer - one might have to go into the thick of things, the other is vulnearble to AD and Impersonation troops. One last option i am unsure about and seek advice: Instead of one normal Hafza, one FOB Hafza and one HeavyRocketLauncher i could replace them with three Forward Observers - are more specialists needed in this list?
  22. Hello. From Time to time i'll be dumping my miniatures here. I hope you like them or have some critique . I got red veil through the warcors program. I'll be painting Yu Jing next.
  23. As the title suggests, I have been thinking about what it would be like to limit yourself to using only your faction's + sectorial's unlimited AVA troop as your only unit in a list. The reason I included the faction's/vanilla's total AVA in the sectorial choices is because some sectorial's unlimited AVA troop don't have a Lt. option (Military Orders, Shasvastii, Onyx, Steel Phalanx, etc...). Aleph and Hassassins are unique in that they don't have an unlimited AVA unit. Shasvastii can't form a core fireteam with their unlimited AVA unit. I was thinking of allowing Shas players the option of taking a Gwailos link and the Hassassins being able to have non-linked Govads in their lists. Maybe just having non-linked Gwalios would be good enough for Shas players? Would that be considered too powerful for the limited force options this challenge allows? Should Kratot Renegades & Le Muet be included as options? What do you gals and guys think? List Building Rules: 1. You can only use your faction's/sectorial's AVA total unit unless you are allowed to add another unit as part of a fireteam. 2. Dire Foes characters are allowed to be used in the list as part of a fireteam or on their own. 3. Sectorials that don't have a Lt. option on their AVA total unit can use their faction's Vanilla total AVA unit if they are able to take them in that sectorial (Military Orders, etc...). This also applies to linkteams such as NCA being able to use a Fusilier core-linkteam since Auxila can't form a link. 4. Sectorials that don't have a Lt. option on their AVA total unit can take units that are allowed to link with them or not if so choose (Onyx, etc...). For example, Nexus Operatives can link with Unidron Batroids but you can also take the max amount of Nexus since Batroids need a hacker to be fielded. 5. Vanilla Aleph can use both the max amount of Thoraktai & Myrmidons and is allowed to take 1 Enomotarchos character. Steel Phalanx can only run 1 link in a list and therefore can only take 1 Enomotarchos character. I don't know what unit would be considered the Vedic AVA total troop so I didn't include one. 6. While heavier units like Grey Rifles, Umbra Legates & Crane Agents can link with their sectorial's AVA total unit it is encouraged to showcase lists that don't use them.
