  1. Hi all. I've created the event, got everyone in, put in the scenarios and really all info that is asked for. Event goes live, and there is no "Start tournament" option, so we play the tournament. Try to report it a few days later, but there still is no way to start the tournament, and thus choose pairings or report the results. What am I missing? OTM says I have tourneys to report, but I can only View the event, and if I try to report it says "The event can not be reported due to: There is no match"

Okay, a quick question: I was writing up a list for Soldiers of Fortune and I decided to stick an Anaconda into my list, it being a great model that I own and really want to use, and the little 'ITS legal' sign changed from a green tick (okay to use) to a purple question mark. Apparently the Anaconda, despite being in the merc's list, is not legal for use in regular ITS games, even under the Soldiers of Fortune list. I feel that this is an oversight, but I may be wrong and if so is there a reason as I would like to use my Anaconda at some point and it seems to be a model without a list at the moment.

Hello, after saving up for several games, I have a few questions that I hope the board can help me with. 1: This is more of an ITS question, but what is the general (fair) protocol for a player conceding in the middle of a game? Points as they stand? Max points for other player, while zero for player that quits? Points the player can likely score in their remaining turns? 2: Last night we had a Asura hacker attempt to Redrum a Ninja Killer Hacker from a short distance away and within line of sight. Ninja responds with an “Engage.” Engage as written says that the player “dodges” ALL attacks. Does this mean that Engage acts just as the “Dodge” skill including movement, or can an Engage be used to nullify hacking attacks, unlike Dodge? I was using my book last night, but online I see that the word “dodges” is hyperlinked to the entry for Dodge, so that probably clears it up. 3: The old Netrod disperses into terrain question. (I saw this has been brought up before.) Netrod disperses somewhere it can't be placed. It follows the rules for troopers using Advanced Deployment, but as it is equipment, should be destroyed if it leaves the table. Following all these rules, ends with the Netrod placed on the border of the deployment zone. Is there a better ruling on this? 4: Hack Transport Aircraft. We debated about this a bit last night. I was under the impression that the FtF roll of hacker's WP vs. jumper's PH was the same as the jumper's usual normal roll. But others thought that it was a FtF roll followed by a second roll for the deployment if the first was not successfully hacked. Are there one or two rolls here? 5: When using Climb or Climbing Plus, is there any need to move in a straight line? Can a figure use the Climb skill to move horizontally across a wall instead of vertically? Do you have to move upwards or downwards at all? Thanks

  6. Hey guys, i've been playing for a while now, usually Vedic with a few greeks mixed in (Phoenix, Achilles, Myrmidons, ...). But in a couple of weeks i will be attending to an ITS event in my local meta and I am rather unsure about what to pick for my lists. I would like to go for Achilles, Posthumans, a Dasyu, but other than that, i've not decided yet. I do not own a Marut for Deadly Dance, but that's ok for me even if i can't get full score (which i probably won't anyway, I'm not playing nearly enough to compete with experienced players who play every week). My main goal is to have fun without being total smashed up. So i would like a few tips for Frontline, Deadly Dance and Supremacy, what kind of units are good here, what should i leave home, what are the priorities... Thanks in advance

  8. I have the following question to ask of you. Consider the following scenario, Player A wins Initiative against player B and keeps it, they both then deploy as normally. However Player A Measures his Deployment Zone and thus is able avoid starting inside a Zone of Operations. He then moves a repeater trooper into the Zone of Operations, and in the subsequent resolution wins his Reset against many Hackers. Now Player A has a Hacker trooper inside the Zone of Control of the repeater trooper while also being outside the total hacking area for both player's hackers and thus declares a Hacking Attack against a hacker of Player B, considering that friendly repeaters cannot be used by the enemy unless they are inside their ZoC, can the enemy hackers answer to this attack? If so, does the hackers from player B suffer the firewall mod penalties or can they not declare ARO to hack altogether?
  9. I'm trying to submit my lists for a tournament. One list that I have in Army, saved for ITS, does not show up for selection. I have tried remaking the list from scratch and naming it a different name and it still won't show up even if other new lists do. Any help?

  11. So, ITS9 not only offers new scenarios and option but also come with some changes about Leagues. The new Escalation League mode is pretty clear. But what about other (non-Escalation) Leagues? Are we really allowed to do whatever we see as fit (within boundaries, of course)? So, as an example, if I plan a League with 8 turns, can I pick any of the scenarios without having to care about the type of operations? And would I even be able to use different Tiers in different rounds? And what about Extras, would it be possible to use different Extras in different League rounds? If i do understand correctly, those things will be possible, but I want to make sure nevertheless (I also might have missed a page when printing the file or something).

  13. So we just got a Season 9 document. We can now discuss buffs to TAGs (Ironclad = all TAGs get Fatality Lv1), DataTracker and HVT killing. First things: HVT Killing: Well PanO has no great assasins so killing immedietly HVT might be a problem during 1st turn, but quite vialable later with some hard punchers (most notably TAGs, Swiss etc.) Usually probably AD will be a best bet to do that "order efficient" way. Defending own HVT from being killed Obviously ASA is best sectorial to do so (park HVT somewhere near mines and snipers ), MO and NCA has much worse time but HD MSR might be usefull (as long as enemy doesn't drop a smoke on top of HVT). Speculo/Fiday will have a merry day killing them but on the other side it means that they are not (and if they are that's your own fault) near your TAG/Lt/Aquila/GdA/Scylla. So we will probably see more of them but they will have to go after bigger numbers of targets (on the other hand you can easily take 2 Fiday+Djabel or 2 Speculo ;/ ;/ ). Seems that Black Friars might have much more work to do. Also remember that you can sync your own HVT !! (to get him to safetly if he does not die during turn 1) DataTracker: In general I think its a slight better for more sturdy troops (all HI). Both on the offence and defence. Just save those damn CT for doctor rerorlls So this one is interesting, would actually agree that MO kinda can make a nice use of it (Hospitaller Knight link will be even more prelevant, usually one of the Magister being DataTracker with friendly doctor and 3 other buddies nearby). Quite easy to defend him and also quite viable that he will be able to kill enemy HVT (for additional points). NCA top pick would be probably a Swiss but cannot due to marker state (well you technicly can never go marker state with him but that's kinda of a bummer and solid downgrade). Squalo comes as another one (follwed by Aquila). ASA can nicely defend DataTracker in their regular link or put him as a GdA or Bag-Mari link. Additional change is 1 combat group cannot be victim of strategic use of CT to reduce their orders by 2. Rule comes from Limited Insertion. Quite big boost for anyone going 10 orders with either a TAG or a Link of Doom (although both must be a bit "downgraded" as they usually have just around 11-12 orders). Interesting addition, although it will be very mission specific. General note: Seems that all the missions just became much more killy as many of them do not use Classified Deck anymore and often just have a "Kill HVT" objective.
  14. The new season is up, with all those sweets ITS rules and missions. There's a lot of new things so i don't feel like listing them all but in short: - New DataTracker rule for some missions. One of your model has a big target on his head and is worth some extra objectives points. - Fatality L1 for all Tags. - New extra rule (like spec-ops or limited insertion) which allow you to bring up to 75pts in mercenaries for 1SWC. - Etc... So, besides the kickass ISS artwork and the not-so-subtle hint that ISS is supposed to destroy everything this year, what do you guys think?

  20. Hey folks, I’m coming to you all for some advice on lists for the next season of ITS. And yes, I know that we haven’t got the new ITS pack through yet, so things could change. For now however I’m going on the assumption that a) things won’t change too much, and b)I literally lost my train of thought whilst writing this sentence. Here are some things I do know though: I’m tired of playing sectorial. I don’t think I’ve ever played a game without a full link team since I got into N3 with the USAriadna release. Whilst I have done ok for myself, I’m starting to feel things are a bit felt clunky and that there’s a lot of situations I just don’t have an interesting answer to. Now I don’t want to get a debate started about Sectorals VS Vanilla, I’m just craving for a bit more freedom of choice that the latter brings. At Interplanetario I played NCA and through my games and talking with other players I came to learn the joys of Dronbots and got the hang of rampaging with Tags. Along with wanting to play Joan for a while (and the then freshly announced re-sculpt wearing away the last shreds of doubt, I came up with this list: Vanilla Pano ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 18 2 JOAN OF ARC Lieutenant Spitfire, Nanopulser / Pistol, AP CCW. My eye twitches weirdly when it can’t pick up a link team in a list (although those Dronbots are almost a team) but it certainly feels like the kinda thing I’m hankering to play. Going back to the first question though, well, that’s what I’m here to ask you guys. So here’s the Play by Play: Joan – An “exciting” LT choice with a stat line to make a TAG blush. I went for the Mobility armour version as even though you lose the 2 ARM, that base 15 MOV should make for an awesome spitfire platform and multiterrain won’t hurt either. A free coordinated order each turn should allow for plenty of shenanigans and her Inspiring leadership allows me to bring along the Warcor and Tech-bee for super cheap orders. The Nisse is a model I’ve had for a while but never played. One thing for sure is that I dread playing against it on the tabletop however. In a game where a lot of things are simply speedbumps if left out in your opponents turn, the Nisse seems to be one of the pieces that be a complete thorn in an opponent’s side. They can also die pathetically on the first shot but this is Infinity after all. The Dronbot core with two Fugazi and two Pathfinders averages out at 12 points a model so only slightly more than a Fusilier. For that however I find the payoff is pretty heavy. Between the pretty solid Flash Pulse guardians to the two WIP 13 specialists with repeaters, sniffers, sat-locks and everything else coming out of the wazoo, I think they’ll make for a pretty solid base of operations. As you’re obliged to take a hacker for all of this the Evo hacker seemed like the optimum choice as with the myriad of support programs these little guys are even better! Ah the Seraph… I still have some doubts on this myself but hear me out. I had a boat load of fun with my Uhlan at Interplanetario and I wanted to kinda bring that element over to this list. I like the Seraph for the Spitfire which lets you engage other tricky targets at ranges that are more favourable (ie. up close) whereas the HMG can start to become a liability if you don’t position yourself well. It’s even more mobile than the Uhlan as well as cheaper and possesses a good old Nanopulser which will prove invaluable when it comes to dealing with the kind of pesky warband units that can plague TAGs. I have a feeling that the Auxbot is going to quickly get left behind but it’s always good to have. But the real question is: Does all this make up for that AMAZEBALLS Camo marker state? Finally there’s Konstantinos, who is kind of the flex pick for this list. As in I had 34 points left and he was a perfect fit. Not that he’s a slouch by any stretch of the imagination. A super solid infiltrator pick in any situation I feel. That being said if something had to be replaced in order to shore up one of the weaknesses of the list he’d probably be the first on the block. Now I do spy some weaknesses: Vulnarable to hacking – Over half the list can be brought low by a hacker with only the Mulebot to counter them. Far from Ideal. Plus that amount of repeaters does form quite the hacking net and being able to take advantage of that more would be good. Lack of Big guns: A MULTI Sniper and two Spitfires. After that it’s all down to Combi Rifles. One solution I already have in my head is to replace Konstantinos with a Kamau HMG and 2nd Palbot before turning the Mulebot into a Hexa Killer Hacker. An obvious hacker choice sure, but one that may just make people think twice before diving into my hacking net and/or Seraph So those are my thoughts, how does it look on your end?

  23. Hey, sorry if this question has been answered before but I had a thought after playing Fire Fight recently. Is there anything preventing both a TAG and the pilot from activating the same panoply? (Not at the same time obviously, but if I first move up to it while using the TAG profile, activate it and get loot, and then dismount with the pilot + activate and get loot on the pilot.) It doesn´t seem broken or anything, but it could really make the difference in the missions where the number of panoplies you take matter. Instinctivly I think that yes, it is allowed, but I want to hear your thoughts before doing it in a game!

I'd love to get some advice from you guys on these 2 lists, and then get some practice in with them before the event. I guess the questions are: 1.   25. This scenario seems rough for Onyx - Umbra and Rodoks can't move for shit in rough terrain, Unidrons can't synch with civs. Any tips?
