  1. Hello everyone! I am mainly CHA player who dabbled into MO playstyle, and I have to admit, mostly due to fact I am most often facing Aleph, I am really tempted by the idea of Tunguska sectorial. I was fiddling around with potential rosters, trying to keep the list capable of delivering damage, while remaining overall fluffy and I came up with list like this: Nomads ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 10 INTERVENTOR Hacker Lieutenant (Hacking Device Plus) Combi Rifle, 1 FastPanda / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 27) KRIZA BORAC (360º Visor) Mk12, Submachine Gun / Heavy Pistol, CC Weapon. (0 | 63) SPEKTR MULTI Sniper Rifle, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 39) SPEKTR (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 32) TOMCAT Engineer Combi Rifle + Light Flamethrower, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 22) SALYUT Hacker (EVO Hacking Device) Electric Pulse. (0.5 | 25) REAKTION ZOND HMG / Electric Pulse. (1 | 26) TSYKLON Spitfire, Pitcher / Electric Pulse. (1 | 31) STEMPLER ZOND Combi Rifle, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 17) STEMPLER ZOND Combi Rifle, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 17) 4.5 SWC | 299 Points Open in Infinity Army So, we have here a HMG, Mk12, Spitfire,Multi Sniper rifle to win firefights. We can easily notice the lack of EXP weapons, that would be very handy against tags but I think with three repeaters dashing across the table to control midfield, and a pitcher I can relatively safely attempt to ruin day of anything remotely hackable. For that very reason I also decided to pick EVO hacking device along with Interventor, mostly to allow coordinated hacking shenanigans in order to marginalize the risk of killer hackers truly ruining my day. With one gentleman trying to kill enemy hacker as the other breakwaters I think I can truly "Win the Internet" Specialist wise, well 3 forward observers, two hackers and engineer in 10 orders list seems plentiful.Tomcat should b e able to come and save the day, would Tsyklon run into a bad day, or simply score me points with sabotage. Kriza.. Well is heavy infantry and potential LT, Seemingly very solid gunfighter, especially with both his rules. So why do I post this? I after my experience as Ariadna player, see here a distinct lack of MSV. While Sat-lock with EVO buff can certainly prove painful I would like to hear criticism and ideas. I am already worried, this will be the type of list to burn through three command tokens on round one to establish dominance on the field, but I think, especially with the fireteam-duo usage I can remain mostly order efficient. So I am looking for ideas and tips, I would love to keep it Tunguska themed, but I certainly would like to know if I am misjudging the toolbox I bring to the battlefield.
  2. With ITS 9: TREASON out for us to enjoy, it seems that a bone has been thrown to those who want to use 10-order lists. Many factions have TAGs or something similar to eat up a chunk of points, but HB does not. I've been toying with a 10-order list for HB, and it seems to come down to "do I want specialists or not?". Also, going this route means giving up some of the specific strengths of the sectorial, namely cheap irregular orders that are amazing. Looking at you, Daylami and Mutts. So, outside of an Limited Insertion tournament, is a 10-order list something you would do? And why?

  4. Hello everyone, once again I am here to pick some brains in thought. I have an upcoming ITS and I'm a little rusty as of late, and this is a rather unusual ITS tourney. It's a 200 pt, Limited Insertion, 4 rounds in only the Joint Operations category (Specific scenarios tbd) Now to me this sounds like a job for the Vet Kazaks, but I'd like to see some ideas out there. Here's what I have so far. It's a little risky, but I can see big payoffs if I play it smart. Ariadna ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 7 SPETSNAZ (CH: Ambush Camouflage) HMG / Pistol, CCW, Knife. (1.5 | 38) TANKHUNTER Portable Autocannon, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. 5. Hi all. Looking for some advice, on a couple of lists. I'm playing a 300 pt limited insertion game of transmission matrix, against vanilla nomads. Since its nomads I figure they'd dominate the hacking game, that's why I tried to avoid hackeable pieces. The game has low visibility on the whole board (-3 to LoS actions). My first option is: Li regular ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 10 AL-DJABEL Fusil + Escopeta Lig., Granadas de Humo / Pistola, Arma CC Viral, Cuchillo. (0 | 35) RAGIK Spitfire / Pistola, Arma CC. (1.5 | 32) DJANBAZAN Ametralladora / Pistola, Cuchillo. (1.5 | 35) TUAREG Hacker (Disp. de Hacker de Asalto) Fusil + Escopeta Lig. (1 | 25) FARZAN (Cadena de Mando) Escopeta de Abordaje / Pistola, Cuchillo. (0 | 26) 5.5 CAP | 300 Puntos Abrir en Infinity Army This list has 10 regular orders + saladino (although not hidden), but 4 hackeable elements. Luckily 3 of them are hackers themselves, and though with low BTS with their high WILL they can be good on the offensive. The TR bot would not be used to control any of the areas till all enemy hackers are dead. Al-Djabel, the ragik spitfire and the djanbazan are the killers. I don't have any engineers nor forward observers for classifieds. The farzan gives me some backup should Saladino fall. The second list: Li ragik ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 8 2 1 TARIK MANSURI Spitfire, Nanopulser, Granadas / Pistola, Arma CC DA. (2 | 56) AL-DJABEL Fusil + Escopeta Lig., Granadas de Humo / Pistola, Arma CC Viral, Cuchillo. (0 | 35) RAGIK Spitfire / Pistola, Arma CC. (1.5 | 32) DJANBAZAN Ametralladora / Pistola, Cuchillo. (0 | 3) HUNZAKUT (Observ. de Artillería y Repetidor de Posición) Fusil + Escopeta Lig. Minas Antipersona / Pistola, Cuchillo. (0 | 18) MUTTAWI'AH Chain Rifle, E/Marat, Jammer, Granadas de Humo / Pistola, Cuchillo. (0 | 5) 6 CAP | 300 Puntos Abrir en Infinity Army This list has a forward observer, and only 2 hackeable units. However 2 irregular orders on limited insertion can hurt. If I go first the toureg would have to be deployed as marker, or else I'd start the game with only 5 regular orders. Specially with 4 minis that can be order intensive, and no decent aro pieces at all. I feel Tarik can be very solid for controlling the midfield antenna and the fiday and ragik can try to join forces on one of the enemy antennas, so I have options to contest the whole field, but I doubt I'll have the orders to pull it off. In this second list I first had a djamba sniper instead of the ragik, giving me some aro and an extra order to burn on djabel, HMG djamba and tarik. Probably more balanced, but I also like the idea of having the ragik to fight for enemy antennas. That's basically it. I'm open to all types of suggestions, but consider tags or HIs as very risky options, and visors or CC more viable options due to reduced visibility. Any advice appreciated!
  6. Greetings fellow Nomads, I have been playing with vanilla Haqqislam for a while now and was wanting to branch out into a sectorial. Bakunin appealed to me for a few reasons; fluff, high-tech, and great new models. I was thinking of starting with a couple ITS ready lists and to keep them as limited insertion for cost/playability. Would you be able to look them over and let me know any ways to improve by pointing out the following: A. Glaring weaknesses that I will need to keep in mind when playing, or to remedy before hand. B. Ways that you may try to play with either list that may be different from how I am envisioning them being played. C. Kudos so I know what I did right/ or should generally work once I get used to playing with them. So, the first list is based around a Moria link, played aggressively to do objectives and kill opposition while being on suppressive fire in the reactive turn. The Custodier Lt is there for backfield hacking support/supportware. Z&P are for objectives/camo revealing. The Tsykilon is for ARO/Tag and HI hunting. Blessed be the Defiant ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 10 KUSANAGI Spitfire / Pistol, Shock CCW. The Grrls would clear out opposition so the specialists can come in behind them for objectives. The SWAST Lt and Zero are for board control midfield. Avicenna is there for objectives and to make the list even more resilient. Z&P are for farie dust, ungluing peeps, camo, and objectives. Ooh Grrl!! ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 10 RIOT GRRL (Specialist Operative) Combi Rifle, Blitzen, Stun Grenades / Pistol, Knife. 7. Greetings fellow expressions of ALEPH. While considering my new Vanilla ALEPH army and the potential for Limited Insertion play I came across an interesting idea I though you might all appreciate. It plays with the assumptions of what a Limited Insertion army is going to look like: 19 Model Limited Insertion ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 10 DEVA Combi Rifle, Nanopulser + Devabot / Pistol, Knife. 8. Greetings fellow commanders of the Hyperpower. After our latest event my local play group is starting to get a little more serious about experimenting with Limited Insertion and I've been looking at how to approach the new missions from the perspective of LI using NCA (with whom I am still working through my options). I had a lot of fun playing a silly 400pt LI game of Show of Force last night against a fellow PanOceania player (a couple of minor deployment mistakes cost me 3 orders in the first turn, which was enough to tip the balance despite a few good crits later) but it's mostly got me thinking about playing this mission with 300pts. Now I'm not sure the Squalo is the right choice for this mission, Camo is just too valuable a defensive tool, so I think it's a good chance to bust out the Uhlan. My thoughts on the mission are still similar to how I felt after initial playthrough of the TAGline event introduced it (pre ITS inclusion) which you can see here. So, those things in mind here's what I'm thinking: LI Show of Force ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 10 UHLAN HMG, Feuerbach / . (2 | 99) CRABBOT Flash Pulse / Knife. 9. Hello fellow Members of the Celestial Guard, i joined a Escalation League to get a better understanding of the game and sop with my constant faction hopping and learn the Imperial Service(for real this time). The Rules are as follows: Recon for 150 and 200 Points (so 6/8 Orders MAX) and Limited Insertion for 300 i played the first rounds of 150 and yeah i learned a lot. Now iam building lists for 200 Points with respect to the recon table size (ok we play 2 of these paper terrain mats at 200). So HMGs and Snipers are rarely in there good rangebands so spitfires and shotguns should do well and that brings me to my list: 200 Ponit Escalation List ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 8 1 KUANG SHI Chain Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5) CELESTIAL GUARD (Kuang Shi Control Device) Combi Rifle + Light Smoke Grenade Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 13) CELESTIAL GUARD Hacker (Hacking Device) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 21) RUI SHI Spitfire / Electric Pulse. (1 | 20) BÀO TROOP (Multispectral Visor L2, Biometric Visor L2) Boarding Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 23) IMPERIAL AGENT (Chain of Command) Boarding Shotgun, Stun Grenades / Pistol, DA CC Weapon. (0 | 29) IMPERIAL AGENT (X Visor) Spitfire, 2 Nanopulsers / Pistol, DA CCW. (2 | 54) SOPHOTECT Combi Rifle, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 31) YUDBOT Electric Pulse. (0 | 3) 4 SWC | 199 Points Open in Infinity Army This is what i wanna field. Because of Recon iam unable to deploy 5 man links and more than 1 Link but as far as iam concerned the list looks solid i cover all rangebands and have 2 Spitfires on good delivery systems. Any typs for expanding to 300? Any remarks on changes for 200? Any tips against aleph, usarf, morats, nomads and tohaa for the Service? Thanks in advance Harutau

  11. Good day Gents. I've been trying to come up with some good lists for limited insertion, especially at 200 points. 12. Hi all! Once again playing a league game and looking for advice on the list to bring. I'll be playing against USAriadna, a 300 pt game, the mission is Engineering deck (central room to control, plus five consoles). The list is limited insertion, and there are 2 funny conditions that apply to the whole map: bad visibility (-6 to rolls requiring LoS) and saturation zone (-1B to all shooting). There's also biotecvore rules in both deployment areas Summarizing, I don't need too much long range active nor ARO due to visibility and saturation, most points come from consoles so I need to be strong on specialists, and I need to be able to get my whole list out of my deployment first turn. I came up with this. I understand the rui shi would be very useful in this setting, but I don't have nor like any of the yu jing remotes, that's why it's not there in the list. I kind of want to be convinced to include them though, so I'm still open to suggestions in that direction biotecvoro ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 9 1 SHIKAMI (Fireteam: Dúo) Contender, Granadas Nimbus / Pistola de Asalto, Arma CC DA, Arma CC AP, Cuchillo. (0 | 24) 1 CAP | 300 Puntos Abrir en Infinity Army The idea is to capture consoles with the karakuris on one flank and the shikamis on the other, while the domarus storm the central room. I was tempted to make 2 domaru duos instead of the domaru+haramaki core and the KHD ninja. But that TO specialist on the last turn has already won me many a battle. People on my area have a tendency to go first if they can. A hidden specialist on the last turn in a mission like this is golden, to control a console, or to contest the room if things go wrong for me. The shikamis will be very hard to hit in these conditions, the karakuri are inmune to fire and the domarus with so much chain can be very hard inside the room. Towards the last turn I'd try to move one of the specialists to the central console if I see I need it for those 5 points. The ninja will be deployed half-way from a console and the room. Hopefully within range of a move+activate console and move+move room door. An option would to remove the shikamis and include a rui shi, an extra domaru, and another KHD ninja. Or a single shikami for a haramaki and a rui shi. But remember that first turn everyone needs to be outside of my deployment, that's why I wanted to have everything linked, or infiltrated. So that's the list and that's the setting, any advice is more than welcome!!
  13. So, let me start by saying I like Limited Insertion as an optional rule, I can't wait to play using it and I always love a good challenge with list building. That said.... While most factions can shore up their list with a 100+ point TAG, a couple 60+ point heroes, or 40+ point per model HI links, Ariadna will definitely need to get creative with lists if this comes up in a tournament (that, or play a several points short). So, I figured I'd throw out a few lists and then see what other people might use. Note: I'm assuming I'll need at least 3-4 specialists per list. Vanilla should be the easiest, and maybe this'll be what I use to start collecting Kazaks. It only came out to 9 orders, but I think that works perfectly to further disguise the Ambush Camo marker
  14. Hi all. First of all I'm a total noob, playing my 7th game or so, second game above 150 points. Any weird choices in my lists are probably due to my lack of experience I'm playing a league, and for the next round the rules are limited insertion, top tier, tic-tac-toe mission. I'm fine with the 400 and the LI, I'd rather play with as few orders as posible, and as many shiny toys as posible. But I'm struggling to fit enough specialists. I'll be up against tohaa, if that makes a difference. So far I've come up with two lists, and a third that's a small variation of the second. I'll post them here with my thoughts on them and if any of you has any comments or proposals, I'm all ears. Since the format is quite weird, plenty of people in the league will be proxying, so no problems there. So at least I have some experience with the units:) Con: I couldn't figure a way to put a sensible lieutenant in, so I ended up with that Oniwaban Lt, just to comply with ITS. I don't know if I'll be able to use him effectively with no kempei backup. Could be handy against any specialists in the midfield near the antenas. But losing duo on the shikamis hurts with this few orders. I could drop both shikamis and use a karakuri haris with only 2 members...or screw the killer ninja and use the whole karakuri haris. Might end up using a lot less than 400 in that case though. Still having a hidden specialist with so few specialists in the list makes me feel safe(r) Any pro tips or advice appreciated!
  15. So we are thinking about Limited Insertion, and I'm trying to get order efficiency and a TAG into my NCA forces. This "super vanilla" (nothing but the PanO classics) force is where my head is at right now: Neoterran Capitaline Army ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 10 FUSILIER Lieutenant Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. It's not like we have a Strategos to get in an 11th order... What do you guys think?
  16. So the single-order-group format has me very, very excited. It's a chance to play ISS without being accused of being an order farm, among other things. Two links including Haris is tempting, but so is fielding some serious Wu Ming brutality. I'm not very experienced with the latter, not owning a full set of Wu Ming yet I've only played them as proxies in friendly games (they have dominated some tunnelfight battles in Paris gameshops though). Would those who know WU Ming links since HSN3 well please offer crit/comment on this list? I'll be buying and converting whatever results up to be my standard for Limited Insertion after getting your advice and playtesting a bit. Is the HMG a good idea, making them more of an active-turn weapon than an ARO one? Or is the HRL a better choice? I tend to use HI links aggresively, so wasn't sure whether the HRL was a good fit. Outside the Wu Ming, I'm mainly unsure about the Rui Shi: It's often useful in my YJ lists, but given the Sensor on the Zhanying seems like it might be redundant, since camospam will be rarer (although TO camo lists are a horrifying probablility with single-group limits).
