Joe wants 42 people this year, 10 more than last year. I think he is selling us short ;)

Texas needs more challengers so we can win overall this year again. (And the shit talking begins!!!)

Ugh...March can't here fast enough.

Now, I know some are saying "Why Amarillo?" Okay, it's not a vacation destination. But ask anyone, the location was all about proximity. What we didn't know, but soon found out, was how awesome it became once we all gathered and started rolling dice. Yes, the tourney is huge and super fun, but that's just where it begins. Beer, barbecue, bowling, great community, it's all awesome.

Trust me, when you tell your friends and family where you're going, they're going to look at you strange, but it WILL BE WORTH IT. Plus, I know for myself, people look at me strange when I tell them I'm going to any city to move miniature soldiers around a table.

Get here. Don't say we didn't tell you ;)

If I were to fly or bus in, would a kind Amarillo native be willing to pick me up (and potential friends) to travel about?

That would not be a problem at all.

Much appreciated! I'll take that into consideration on whether or not I want to drive in. 10 hours to get from central Texas to North Texas is brutal. I can't even claim the whole "I'm leaving the state" thing.

College Station will be bringing 1, maybe 3, players. Who knows, if the scene kicks up significantly (we have 3 or so fledgling players) we may bring more.

But yes, thanks kindly for the offer, Azrael!

The question is not if I'm coming, but where I'm coming from this time.

You didn't smell funny last time, so I'll take you up on this if you want.

I'll have to check with my work (stupid busy seasons) but if I end up going, I might be able to provide rides for people.  Could easily fit 2 beside myself, and I'm coming up from that direction.  Just a thought.
