Beanbags.  Problem solved.

That would blur the lines between the plushies and the beanbags.  I'm thinking an Infinity game on a backyard scale with plushies instead of miniatures.

Have them wear eye protection and use little plastic BB airsoft guns. Pretty harmless.

I mean beanbags for ammo.

Yeah but shouldn't your ammo be very different from your units?  Plushies and beanbags are too close.  I'll settle for tape measures and using my giant foam d20 for hit determination, just like in a normal game of Infinity.

Think of it this way.  It's the only Pheasant anyone will ever see outside a display case.

Honestly, I think the idea of a Crazy Koala plushie is perfect. I'd want it to have little velcro hands or something so that it can cling to the legs of your enemies!

That's the one.

For comparison:

On sale at least for Lock-n-Load later this week...

Plushies that I currently can own and find:  Zaku II, Haru, Cthulhu (small), Erfworld Dwagon, Monty Python rabbit, and a little grey beanie elephant.

The only reason I haven't voted in the poll is that usually making plushies is sweatshop labor or "Lock yourself in your apartment sewing until you hate your job" work. :scared-(-nahh-):

All I have is a plushie facehugger and great Cthulhu.

After all, why go for the LESSER of evils. :D

Having a plushie version of a plushie like robot, kinda defeats the purpose though, or doesn't it?

On the other side, it should be easier to produce than a chibi.

I would love these.

My dream designs would be a Yudbot, Marut or Joan (that said for Joan I should just trawl anime conventions for Fate/Stay Night merchandise)

Eager to see where this goes!

Kickstarter might also be an option, but of course you run the risk of demand exceeding supply and kickstartering yourself into slave labor :P

I'd probably end up doing it the other way round. Instead of taking commissions and being forced to do them and the risk of disappointed customers I'll do the plushies with most votes and then post pictures of the finished pieces with a price I'd need to charge for it. Then everyone can decide if the quality (which will be bad at the start and become better and better with further pieces) is worth the price or not. First one to envince interest will get that plushie and the next will be posted whenever it is finished.

Time to start an auction thread in Data Sphere, Yashia. Do some, as you have time, sell them to highest bidders.

Well, since i'm the only one who voted "other" in the first part, i guess i'd explain...

I don't think i'll buy one, as i don't have any use for plushie toys, but i'd like to see you trying it out, so if it'll be a kickstarter, patreon or any other way to just give you money for a project i'd gladly do it. Or, if it'll be something nomad, i know a person i can gift it to.

This is amazing. I'd be in for sure. I'm sure my 18 month old son would love them!

On the Kickstarter idea:

KS is for people who need a good sum to realize their project. Fabric and co are expensive, but not THAT expensive ;) Also that would lead to exactly that direction I DON'T wanna go, since it's highly possible that the demand is higher than my output.

And until now I neither know if this was okay with CB, nor if I'm able to do nice quality plushies at all.

@ Dawson:

I see what I can do. ;)

I have to see if I can produce recognizable figures at all ;)
