WIP: Got the three Bandua Aztec Series buildings for the jungle city. Really happy with them - the parts fit perfectly togeather. And the buildings are really high.

I'll be adding a light kit to one of mine.

(Which reminds me that I need to get some velcro for the battery and replace my cheapy hot glue gun, as it seems to have vanished.)

Thank's for the great idea. Simply using a cheap christmas led light :-)

I'm now unsure what this building should be fluff wise for a building in Paradiso or Accontesimiento - hospital in paradiso, research and development facility, executive offices or simply a habitat? Or something different - all your ideas and thoughts are welcome!

Fiddling with the lightning - building a cheap lamps out of a blue plasic folder.

Motivated by the first WIP attempts - now a more "realistic" cheap lamp made of hot glue refilling. Just cut it in slices and you get real nice indirect lightning.

Building the Bandua Aztec Series goes on.

The MDF buildings are realy big ...

... does someone have experience making such MDF/HDF buildings "foldable"?

That lighting is so cool and bonkers.

I love the idea of using slices of hot glue stick as the "glass" in lighting fixtures!

Not sure what you mean by 'foldable buildings' - could you maybe add brackets to the corners of the walls that hold rare earth magnets to keep the buildings together on the table but allow flat or mostly-flat storage?

Awesome stuff!

I have a ton of these LED thingies flying around... alway wondering how to incorporate them nicely. You have done very well!

Consider it stolen :D

realy nice idea for the hot glue refilling. Its easy and makes realy nice lamps. I would never have thought of it.

i prefure them above the blue plasic folder once. But thats personal taste.

nice work once again.

for the folding part. Maybe you can apply some fabric on the inside corners. Or like wirelizard say'd work with magnets.

Thx for the hints. The magnets are on the way.

My first experiments have been with duck tape as hinge - but the magnets seem to be a better idea.75b66eadac876e1ef6d2817680cdbaa8.jpgdea21eed804190ffa6aa48b299d93aef.jpg239a06ca93de3983706954bde8d223b2.jpg

Magnets are a good idea - but how to fix them to the HDF/MDF? Every hint welcome!
