Great fun to play, I won 10-1 after brute forcing my way through PanO but got a few rules wrong in the process. Played against NCA with a 5 man Bolt team which makes Viral weapons really sad. I completely forgot about SymbioMates (lol) and the fact my Rasail had Nanoscreen so kept her back all game. Need to remember that!

The list looks fun, and yes symbiomates and (if you're using the rasail) the nanoscreen is important to remember. Personal preference is to have the Rasail LT bring the Spitfire, with the Kaeltar soaking up LoL using that extra guilt free LT order can be great on an offensive piece like the Rasail.

Yeah I needed to gut some SWC and wasn't sure where to try it. Maybe the Nikoul but he did pretty great all game and I love the profile.

For me the Nikoul competes with the Gao-Rael sniper in a defensive triad for the anti-camo/overwatch role for which the linked Rael is generally better (in my opinion), so dropping the spitfire Rael and the Nikoul would give you enough SWC for the Rael sniper and spitfre Rasail, i'd recommend trying it out those two have probably done the best for me out of all my Tohaa units, possibly out of all my units (sorry Chasseurs).

I know I want to give the Sakuel Commando Lt a go next game, as well as proxying Tarquin (whatever this thing is actually called, has advanced command).

Taqeul Lt. is good for abusing Coordinated Orders, so bring Kawaii Sentinels with him. As Chain of Command, he can be a tough Specialist for protecting an Objective.

Cheers mate. I'll be trying the Commando in the next game which will be more scenario orientated for sure. :) I want to give the Sentinels a go as well, they seem pretty ace.

Have been getting a bit of use out of Commandos lately playing Limited insertion lists. great list i have been using.....although a little cheesy

Important to note FO sukeuls can be swapped to the nullifiers (works great for wotan transmission matrix...and fighting annoying hackers/SML)

Spoiler

That's a lot of Commandos. Is the double Kaeltar because both of them are being in Triads and up against enemy fire?

I suspect a lot of people run double Kaeltars because they are cheap, linkable, specialists in scenarios where CoC are specialists and give you four mates to protect your symbiont models (Gao-Rael, Rasail, Sukeul in that list). And CoC redundancy, though I haven't really run into any games where I needed a second CoC yet.

I have run something similar. It's mostly Mimetism insurance.  The Sukeul, like the Kotail and Kerail, takes a hard nerf when wounded, so you want the Mimetism Symbiont up as long as possible.  And yes, Kaeltars make great specialists.

Yeah CoC can push buttons in most ITS missions and it is great for that (not to mention the symbio mates/bombs) but 1 thing people in my meta tend to forget about is FLASH PULSE. 8-24 inch +3 range B2 in ARO (in triad) is nasty...yes it does not kill the target but blinded is just as good and forces the opponent to sink orders elsewhere when they generally had their plan in place already.

Everyone is scared of the Sukuels (and rightly so) but in that list my favourite is still the LRL Sakiel....takes everyone by surprise...B2/3 Fire impact template.

List does lack in the Doctor/Engineer department but that usually only hurts with the classifieds

LRLs are pretty neat, I've taken HRLs in CA but never really seen LRLs used. The Paramedic Sakiel got a much better opinion from me when I read how MediKits interact with Symbiont Armour.

Scheduling a game later this week at 300pts and this is my first list draft I've drawn up, similar models to last time so I can sit down and learn their stats:

Playing against Tohaa recently has made me so jealous

Grass is always greener like, but Sakiels, Sukaels and so on are just horrible

I played PanO for years being envious of all the cool special rules.

Playing from the other side BS12 light infantry is horseshit.
