Gravitational Advantage: does it apply to Multi-terrain?

9 posts in this topic

GRAVITATIONAL ADVANTAGE
The zone of operations has some insertion windows which can provide a tactical advantage. All troopers possessing Zero-G Terrain can deploy as if they have the AD: Airborne Infiltration Special Skill.

Does this apply to troopers possessing multi-terrain, or only to troopers possessing Zero-G?

Multiterrain lets you choose a terrain type, it doesn't give you the named Skill for that terrain type. So no, you have to specifically have Zero G Terrain.

We were just discussing how broken AD2 Achilles would be. This makes my day.

Can you AD2 with a Duo? I'd say no because link creation specifically says you must place the leader token during deployment, but i'd like to be sure!?

During the Deployment Phase, placing a Team Leader Marker
(F: TEAM LEADER), or equivalent, next to one of the troopers
that meet the Requirements of this rule.

I would say no but it doesn't stop you from creating a link out of them after they drop.

You will need to spend a command token to put your AD Geckos in a duo after deploying both of them.
