Graphic Design and Software Development Manager

What do we expect from you?

We expect you to be an expert in graphic design for the web and that you are capable of taking on the management of a department with a mixed team of graphic designers and programmers.

Your main task will be defining strategies and creating, together with your team, comprehensive solutions for graphic design, software, and web design in tune with the branding (on/off-line) and quality criteria of the organization.

You will work with the team of your department, leadership, and technical staff as appropriate and report to the management.

Main responsibilities.

·      Strategic and operative definition of your department’s tasks in coordination with other departments involved in those projects.

·      Management of a 2-4 person team (graphic design and programing, leading the projects of web and graphic design.

·      Monitoring the workload and deadlines of specific software development projects, delegating the technical decisions to the programing team. We do not require programing knowledge from you.

·      Conceptual web design optimized for any platform.

·      Graphic design and review of packaging, cards, signs, logos, etc.

·      Layout and design for mobile devices, web, and paper.

·      Photographing products for our internal catalog.

·      Fluent communication and coordination with the other departments in the organization.

·      Preparation of analytic market reports and activity reports.

Do you fit this description?

·      University degree related to the position.

·      At least 4 years of experience doing similar tasks. Experience in web design and online graphic elements is essential.

·      High level of knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.

·      Knowledge of photography and video editing.

·      Medium-high level of Spanish.

·      Knowledge of games, videogames, and our products is an advantage.

·      Planning and organization capacities, creativity, collaborative spirit, aesthetic sensitivity, and attention to detail.

·      If you have a disability certificate of at least 33%, it will be positively valued.

·      Driver’s license and vehicle (the location of the company requires it).

·      Initial contract for 12 months, which becomes permanent if you like the company and you fit the position, our culture, and the human team.
