So, no more reserve with symbiomate/symbiomb on it?

What do you think about that guys? :<

I think this was answered in ROE months ago.  I have been playing that way since HSN3 dropped.

It may undo plans for some players' reserve-deployed Nikouls, but it is not unfair restriction, especially considering the power of the Symbiomate.  Sometimes a Kaeltar is my reserve model for this reason.  Usually, it is a Kaauri Sniper, Krakot, Igao or Clipsos.

it is a very small antibuff

you cant spare nikoul for the final model now. you have to be careful while putting the models. for instance if you are playing with a stranger, can be a problem. imagine that you put your sukeul, makaul and keltar link at one time. stranger can say, "sorry but you cant put your second mate any more." etc.. maybe here is right.

you cant reserve gorgos anymore. otherwise you cant benefit from mate and bomb.

generally i am not happy but seems a logical rule for me. so i cant riot.

I'll just switch back to the old tactic of deploying a hidden Clipsos as last model.

I like how people on Facebook were raging about this, and everyone on here is calm and collected. Brings it in line with how other units with deploy-able equipment are set up.

Part of the problem is that some Tohaa players insist that Symbiomates are a required thing. They are not. Tohaa can win just as well without them. There are no units in Tohaa that are mandatory for every list. I think it's been close to a year or so since I used Symbiomates last.

Honestly speaking Corvus Belli should switch the Chain of Command to the Bomb user. It is this skill why i take a kealtar in about 90%. That I have 2 mates is a nice bonus but a secret specialist with WIP 14 and if you take a Rasail...

Honestly I would go 1 step further and remove chain of command entirely from the kealtar.

The way I see it tohaa is al about diversity and chosing what tools work best for the situation. Having clear auto-takes (within reason) and all-purpose troops kinda defeat the point and limit how far the faction can expand. However having troops like the taqeul or nikoul with a clear job in mind and a limited toolset have the opposite effect. If CB looked more on how certain troops overlap and how to add diversity without outrulling certain units we would have had a more diverse and interesting faction.

TL;DR: kealtar are fine even without CoC.

I take the Taquel  Quite often. It is a great model. Put a rasail Leutnant with him and you got 2 strong  pieces to usw your Leutnant order. And as a backup im there is the kealtar for my round 3 (nearly every opponent tries to kill the rasail in their first turn and your taquel  in their second turn)

Both models combined wreak havoc in the lines of your opponent

The point about the Gorgos is fair. It probably hurts that the most but overall it's good to have clarity.
