But feuerbach Teucer has also free agent, nwi ... and cost a bit less. Why would you take the K1 sniper ? There is exactly one situation it would perform better, and that is what i already said

But you are wrong. There are plenty of situations.

K1 vs MSV2+Feu is a 0.5SWC and 1 point savings. So imagine that used for another hacker/specialist over a regular troop. Or a better heavy weapon for another troop. You can't keep comparing units or profiles that don't cost the same without considering the whole picture. No matter how close they may appear.

K1 vs Xvisor+Feu costs 2 pts more but you gain MSV2. Blah blah MSV2.

Unless you are looking at the profile without MSV, which is just shit. Why would anyone ever bother with that one?

It's still a 0.5 SWC savings to use elsewhere if you don't need the MSV2. Maybe an Asura, Atalanta, Deva, Agema, and/or Marut is more than enough MSV for a list?

Mate I can assure you hugging a cactus can have advantages over not hugging a cactus if you want to invest enough time to look for one. Still not enough to make the former a smart choice over the latter... as you point out, larger range of application kinda matters.

Are you sure?

Spoiler

I'd like to point out that this might be considered inappropriate for our younger audience, but hey according to rule 34 there probably is a target group for that kind of stuff, so who am I to judge your fetish @Jujoji

I think that the point system is fine, but that certain subjective pricing (all systems will have subjective pricing at some point) really do need a good hard look at. Also, float point precision errors need to be addressed - places where the system breaks down and doesn't work.

I'm not certain I agree on the last part. Plasma weaponry is very cheap and the mimetism on TR REMs is very suspiciously cheap. I haven't faced too many CA, but when I have it's been unusually tough uphill battles.

A run of the line model costs 14 point and if I want anything good I have to settle for 1 CG. Let me just say that 1 CG armies being immune to losing Orders is awesome and I hope it stays.

What is CG in this context? To me it is a Celestial Guard.

I think he mean 1 combat group or something similar. In other words lists with only 10 regular orders in 1 group.

No PanO is not sole faction with effiecnt troops :)

I never said that. Every faction has stand out units, and the units you list are some of the best in the game. Let me clarify what I mean by efficient. Pano troop designs lack any bloat which keeps their cost down. That makes them more efficient then the skill/equipment bloat you get in other factions. Maybe minimalist would be a better word for it but that word might imply Pano is low tech which it certainly is not.

Units like the Intruder and Specnaz are some of the best units for their cost but they come with plenty of skills/equipment which is not how Pano builds its troops.
